The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zavurov scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Hargreaves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zavurov moves away. A little jabbing left from Zavurov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Hargreaves misses with a wild combination.
Zavurov throws a big shot that misses. That kick from Zavurov tenderised Hargreaves's leg. Hargreaves is trying to keep his angry face on. Zavurov drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Hargreaves ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zavurov moves away. Zavurov throws a lazy uppercut
and Hargreaves counters with a left to the body. Zavurov works the jab nicely. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Hargreaves checks a leg kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Zavurov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pony tries to land a front kick but Jaak steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Pony wants to clinch up but Jaak keeps it at a distance. Jaak throws out a loose jab but Pony uses good head movement to avoid it. Jaak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Pony looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Jaak throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. We've been informed that Jaak has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Jaak throws a poor cross that misses

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spong lands a nice looking body kick. Suri throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Suri seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Spong throws an overhand right that lands on Suri's shoulder, as Suri tries to avoid the shot. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Suri, as that shot connected.
Spong slips under a jab. Suri fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Spong is out of range. Nice defenses there by Spong. Spong cracks Suri with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Suri lands with a hook. Spong tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
It looks like Alistair Spong has been cut. Spong stuns Suri with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Spong throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Suri has a couple of punches blocked by Spong.
And that's the end of the fight! Alistair Spong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Spong has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today.
