The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Patryk.
Patryk plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!

It looks like Taivon Arsett has been cut.

Patryk takes the fight into the clinch.
Arsett is pressed up against the cage. Patryk has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Arsett down to the mat. Arsett avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Patryk throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Arsett's head.

and Arsett counters with a three punch combo that has Patryk backing up. Patryk nods at Arsett to acknowledge the strikes.
Patryk's coach down at was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Patryk's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Patryk rushes Arsett with punches - Arsett moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Arsett goes down! Patryk follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

After the fight, Lukasz Patryk was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

John fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rex looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Rex fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with John, pushing him back against the cage.
Rex misses with a punch on the inside.
Rex tried to land a shot to the body but connects with John's elbow.
Rex tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

John stalling in the clinch but Rex improves position.
Rex lands a good knee to the midsection. John won't want to take too many of those.

Lora drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Sledgehammer, as that shot connected.

Sledgehammer fails to land with a series of punches.
Lora drops down looking for a counter takedown but Sledgehammer sprawls and moves away.
Lora is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Sledgehammer moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.

Boretti moves in looking to clinch but Zaad pushes him off.
Despite the aggression on Zaad's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.

Zaad chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Boretti can pounce on him.

It looked like Boretti was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Zaad throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boretti sees it coming and avoids it easily.
You can see that Zaad has visibly slowed down as a result of the leg kicks
Zaad stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Boretti.
Zaad tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Boretti was well out of range. Poor timing from Zaad.

Matteo Boretti seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
