The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pspic feints and then cracks Hatton's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hatton down. Pspic fails to land with a series of punches.

It looks like Rocky Hatton has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pspic staying calm. Oh Hatton is still in real trouble! Attack misses with an uppercut. Attack throws a sloppy head kick and Hammar cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Attack feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hammar's calf. Hammar misses the shot to the body. An attempted straight right counter from Attack misses the target. Hammar throws a jab when Attack was well out of range. Attack is looking to counter punch. Attack looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Hammar takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

A head kick by Attack misses and Hammar counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Hammar gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Attack. Attack throws a combination that misses and Hammar counters with a left to the body. Hammar avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hammar doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. A big right from Hammar misses. Hammar scores with a jab to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Experiment swings away with a leg kick that misses. Experiment moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Experiment has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Mrar is landing a low percentage of strikes. Mrar fails with a takedown attempt. Mrar doesn't manage to clinch there - Experiment circles away.
Experiment ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mrar moves away. Mrar closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Experiment trying to hold on to Mrar's head to control him but Mrar postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Experiment is concentrating on defense, preventing Mrar from advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mrar passes to full mount! Experiment keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Mrar throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Experiment to regain full guard. Experiment controlling Mrar's posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mrar throws a strike but Experiment rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Experiment trying to control but Mrar is working from the bottom. Experiment controlling from the top position. Experiment trying to control the position from guard on top but Mrar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Experiment is fighting to break Mrar's control of his arms but Mrar is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Experiment postures up.

That was a close round but I would say that Yajson Mrar will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Experiment lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mrar has closed the distance and engaged Experiment in a clinch.

Experiment has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Experiment looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Experiment connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Experiment connects with a body shot that sends Mrar's belly button to the back. Experiment connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Experiment wants it to stay on the feet. Mrar looks to clinch and Experiment counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Finnish Experiment seems to be getting the better of the standup. Experiment throws a jab when Mrar was well out of range. Mrar went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Mrar walks into a stiff left hand from Experiment. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Experiment throws a looping overhand right but Mrar ducks down to avoid it. Mrar wants to clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Plu To Pi Fian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pi Fian tries to bum rush The Crab with a series of wild strikes but The Crab uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
