0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George St Peter! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Summer Carpenter and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pak throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Dae Jung Pak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Pak swings widly with a right hand
and St Peter counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Pak scores with a hook to the body. St Peter takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. St Peter drives through with a takedown into Pak's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Pak is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pak escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. St Peter gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pak seems keen to control St Peter's posture. St Peter sitting in guard here, content to control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pak looking for a guillotine here but St Peter defends easily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that St Peter has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. St Peter won't allow Pak to sweep him here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. St Peter is stalling in the full guard. St Peter landing some decent shots from guard. St Peter looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Pak with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. St Peter is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wood takes the fight into the clinch. Lao breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Lao shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Wood is trying to maintain the position but Lao is very close to passing his half guard. Wood looking for submissions off his back. Wood keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wood trying to hold on to Lao's head to control him but Lao postures up.

Lao might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Lao is fighting to break Wood's control of his arms but Wood is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Lao content to stall in guard here. Wood pulls Lao in close to prevent any damage. Wood working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lao doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lao manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lao doesn't succeed with the takedown and Wood counters with a one-two to the body. Lao is breathing heavily. Wood closes the distance and clinches. A nice right hand lands inside from Wood. Wood lands a right hand. I was talking to Lao's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Wood lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lima bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lima moves away from the strike by Cobb. Lima thuds a left hand into Cobb's body. Cobb lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cobb looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Lima throws a shot from downtown. Cobb moves away and avoids it. Cobb blocks a head kick by Lima.

Lima tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cobb was well out of range. Poor timing from Lima. Cobb doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogan fails with a takedown attempt. Imbert doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Imbert scores with a jab. Hogan acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Imbert throws an overhand right that lands on Hogan's shoulder, as Hogan tries to avoid the shot. Hogan shoots in for a takedown but Imbert shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Imbert! But no joy. Hulk Hogan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Imbert uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Hogan has time to react.
It looks like Hulk Hogan has been cut. Imbert slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Imbert catches Hogan with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Hogan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Imbert counters with a nice uppercut. Hogan has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Imbert finds it's way round the side to connect with Hogan's head. Hogan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Imbert defends well and Hogan ends up having to push Imbert into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hulk Hogan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hogan with a lazy takedown attempt and Imbert connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
