Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Genji Kamogawa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ori Anna! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! An inside leg kick from Kamogawa misses. Some bone on bone action there as Anna checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Kamogawa throws a solid leg kick but Anna takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kamogawa. Kamogawa misses with a low kick. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Anna! But no joy. Ori Anna seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Anna wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Anna tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. As Anna backs away, Kamogawa returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Kamogawa instigates a clinch. Anna leaning against his opponent.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kamogawa throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Anna is looking to clinch. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Kamogawa lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Anna has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Anna and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Kamogawa gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That was a close round but I would say that Genji Kamogawa will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

That's eight minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Kamogawa stopping the sweep attempt from Anna. Anna controls Kamogawa momentarily but Kamogawa frees himself. Kamogawa trying to control the position from guard on top but Anna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Anna is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Anna throws some shots to the body, keeping his opponent honest.

Kamogawa displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Anna throws out the jab.

It's landed, knocking Watanabe into next week! Ooooh that was huge! El Toro Jr knows it - he's on the ropes flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Stroev. Balan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Balan feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Stroev can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Balan controls the pace. Balan sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Stroev's guard. Balan stalling. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Stroev is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Balan jumps into side control! Stroev on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stroev tries to get out of the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Balan has an Americana. Stroev didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Balan is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Balan hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

No luck with that takedown attempt from Perry. LaZola throws a hook to the side of Perry's head but Perry sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. No joy there for LaZola, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

LaZola was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Perry staying out of range there. LaZola throws a hook but Perry blocks it. LaZola closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Perry lands a nice looking kick to the body. LaZola takes a step back to recover. LaZola just misses with a punch to the body.
Perry unleashes a big counter combination but LaZola bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. LaZola is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Perry tries to close the distance and clinch up but LaZola swats him away and circles back towards the center. Perry fails with a takedown attempt. LaZola uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Perry. Perry lands with a nice body punch. LaZola jabbing away but nothing is landing. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steele lands with a shot to the body. Steele tests Nickal's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nickal looks to land a left hand but Steele moved out of range nicely. Steele will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Steele throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nickal. Steele moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Nickal throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Steele's coach down at Chris Leben KO Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Steele's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Steele's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nickal under the eye. Nickal is trying hard to land a takedown here. Steele sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Nickal fails with a takedown attempt. Steele digs a good body shot into Nickal's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nickal takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Nickal misses with a straight left. Steele swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Nickal seems to have got his legs back now. Nickal misses with a looping left. Nickal throws the left hand but Steele avoids the punch easily. Steele cracks Nickal with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Steele has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Nickal to stand back up! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Steele lands a big right hook! Nickal looks hurt but is still standing! Steele lands a left jab and another right hook! This time Nickal falls down and Steele dives in with a huge hammer fist! Nickal's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Steele runs up the ropes to celebrate with his fans!

Cole tries to bench press Matusov off him but Matusov keeps the position. Cole is not content to let Matusov control the position. Matusov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Cole has escaped the position, nice work there. Cole is not content to let Matusov control the position. Matusov looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
