The crowd seem to be enjoying Brooks's choice of entrance music: This Fire Burns. Davos Kung had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 172.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kai throws a lazy right hand but Ludwig sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ludwig scores with a head kick. Kai tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Kai throws a nice inside leg kick.
Ludwig throws the kick towards the body but Kai avoids it.
Kai is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ludwig.
Ludwig defending well as Kai loads up on a big left hand.
Kai misses the jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Ludwig.
Kai checks the leg kick.
Ludwig moves away from the strike by Kai.
Ludwig lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Ludwig throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ludwig wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Kai throws a jab but it's blocked by Ludwig.

It seemed like Ludwig was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Kai has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Crassus in the buildup to the fight.
Ludwig lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ludwig uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kai.
Ludwig is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kai.

Kron Kai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ludwig scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Kai doesn't seem bothered though.
Kron Kai is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Ludwig.
Ludwig walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kai checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kai takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Ludwig is rocked!
Kai lands a lovely overhand right.
Ludwig is still on wobbly legs! Can Kai finish him?
Kai lands a nice hook to Ludwig's body. Ludwig takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Ludwig is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Kai just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Ludwig has gone limp and this one is over!
