We're back under way and the fighters meet in the middle of the canvas to re-engage.
Hixon Pierre's cut is getting worse. Pierre tried to score with a low kick but Urine checks it. It seemed like Urine was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Pierre avoids a punch combination nicely.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bloody Urine very nearly forgot to thank Urban Fighter amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. The defeated Hixon Pierre had this to say: 'I had an unfortunate incident when I was a child. I tried to save a girl from being crushed by a bus, but I crushed her skull in by accident. When police questioned me, I tried to explain I was just trying to comfort her. '.

We've been informed that Khaine has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Khaine lands the left hand. Khaine is looking to land body kicks. It looked like Ramos wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Khaine. Ramos shrugs it off though. Khaine blocks a jab. Khaine throws a hook to the side of Ramos's head but Ramos sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Mamoru takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Mamoru throws a leg kick but Lafitte moved away. Mamoru tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Lafitte tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Mamoru paws at him with a jab and circles away. Mamoru tries a quick counter leg kick but Lafitte is wise to it. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stevens forces Diego back against the ropes and clinches. Stevens doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Diego blocks a body shot from Stevens. Stevens tries to land a knee to the head but Diego blocks with his arms.

Stevens pushes Diego back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head. I was talking to Diego's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Diego blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Stevens lands a right hand that snaps the head of Diego backwards. Stevens tries a body shot but Diego blocks it.

With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Diego just misses with a elbow thrown towards Stevens's brow. Diego cracks Stevens with a nice body shot. Stevens takes a shot to the head. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nice body punch from Diego - that landed with a thud.
