And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan Moore!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moore dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jack. That did some damage!
Moore moves away from the strike by Jack.
A little jabbing left from Moore on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Jack scores with a jab.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Jack.
Jack falls off balance throwing a combination
enabling Moore to counter with a crisp jab.
Jack throws out a loose jab but Moore uses good head movement to avoid it.
Moore uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Moore tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Jack throws a looping overhand right but Moore ducks down to avoid it.

Jack moves into the clinch.
Moore is looking to break free of the clinch but Jack has double underhooks.

I was talking to Jack's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moore has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Jack seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Moore can turn it around.

and Moore counters with a three punch combo that has Jack backing up. Jack nods at Moore to acknowledge the strikes.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Jack tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Jack has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Jack in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Moore tries to bench press Jack off him but Jack keeps the position.

Jack tries to close the distance and clinch up but Moore swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Jack lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moore circles away quickly and effectively.
Jack takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Moore counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Jack is looking to clinch but Moore is avoiding it.
As Jack backs off Moore throws a huge counter combo but Jack manages to avoid it all.

Moore feints and then cracks Jack's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jack down.
Oh Jack is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Moore throws a pinpoint strike between Jack's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Jack crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Moore scores a great knockout victory!

Alan Moore seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
Billy Jack was interviewed post fight and said 'My manager says that if I have a granite chin, don't cut easily, and my moral doesn't drop too much, he'll keep me around. Otherwise, I'm out of here.'.

Nevez throws a lazy right hand but Clementine sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Clementine throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Clementine clinches up against the cage.
Clementine jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Nevez walks away with a smile on his face. Clementine gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Nevez scores with the left hand. Clementine knows he should have avoided that one.
Clementine keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Nevez.
Nevez catches Clementine with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Clementine tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Nevez lands a hook that snaps the head of Clementine backwards.
Nevez tries to break free but Clementine pushes him back against the cage.

Ruben Nevez has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jazz Clementine.

Clementine has hold of one of Nevez's legs. Nevez is fighting the takedown attempt but Clementine gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Nevez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nevez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Clementine.

Clementine tries to free his leg and advance position but Nevez is retaining full guard.

Clementine works his foot free and advances to mount.
Nevez is controlling an arm, preventing Clementine from taking his back. Although keeping him in mount is no better to be honest.

Clementine is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Nevez can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Nevez defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Clementine's arms.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Clementine is cranking Nevez's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Nevez! He's tightened the choke and Nevez is tapping out!

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wilner Fatiman (ranked 1978 p4p, 184 weight class) and Christian Cyborg (ranked 2350 p4p, 206 weight class). Fatiman comes to the cage accompanied by Zion Train. Christian Cyborg struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 146.4lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Fatiman goes for a double leg but Cyborg avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Cyborg continues to drive forward.
Wilner Fatiman seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cyborg throws a shot to the body.

Fatiman shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cyborg napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Fatiman is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Cyborg knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

That's time! Fatiman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Nice sprawl there from Cyborg as Fatiman shoots in.
Fatiman shoots in for a takedown but Cyborg shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Cyborg fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Cyborg leaves Fatiman with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Cyborg is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Fatiman with a body shot.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wilner Fatiman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cyborg tries to clinch but Fatiman moves out of range.
Fatiman changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Cyborg tries to avoid it but Fatiman manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Cyborg to the ground. Cyborg escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Cyborg throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Fatiman stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Fatiman shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cyborg counters with a stiff right hand.
Fatiman darts in looking for a takedown but Cyborg gets double underhooks and turns Fatiman into the cage.
Cyborg throws a series of strikes that have Fatiman backpedaling.

It looks like Wilner Fatiman has been cut.
Cyborg goes for a small jab and connects. Now Cyborg goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Fatiman stumbles back but Cyborg runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Fatiman to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Fatiman will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Christian Cyborg!
After the fight, Christian Cyborg was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
