It looked like Monkey was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Hepple.

Monkey avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Monkey was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Ronnie Hepple comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Hepple has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Menger holds on and takes a little breather.
I've been told that Velasquez has been drilling his wrestling of late, which has already helped him take this fight to the mat. Let's see how much of an impact it has on the outcome of the ground game.
