The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Perda Segurio tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard. The fighters are battling for position here. Perda Segurio manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Perda Segurio wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Diaz stops Perda Segurio from standing up. Perda Segurio not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Diaz cracks Perda Segurio with a solid left hand. Perda Segurio trying to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Perda Segurio wants to sweep but no luck. Perda Segurio keeping full guard, as Diaz tries to pass. Perda Segurio controls Diaz momentarily but Diaz frees himself.

Perda Segurio has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though. Diaz winds up and cracks Perda Segurio with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Perda Segurio is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Diaz scores with a couple of nice shots. Perda Segurio is looking to control Diaz's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Perda Segurio avoid being mounted? Diaz prevents Perda Segurio from improving his position. Diaz is looking to take a break and control but Perda Segurio is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diaz is nestled in close to Perda Segurio, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Diaz is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Perda Segurio has managed to free his arm - good work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Perda Segurio has hold of Diaz's hands but Diaz slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Perda Segurio is trying to control but can't.
Perda Segurio wants to get back to his feet. Diaz is looking to advance position but Perda Segurio won't allow it. Perda Segurio is looking to escape. Perda Segurio wants to improve his position but Diaz is controlling well.
Diaz lands strikes from half guard. Perda Segurio is not content to let Diaz control the position.

Perda Segurio is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Diaz keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Perda Segurio's head. Diaz slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Perda Segurio takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Perda Segurio is pushing Diaz's head away, looking to escape. Diaz manages to hold on to the position though. Diaz is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Perda Segurio is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perda Segurio throws Diaz to one side and escapes! Diaz thows a left - swing and a miss! Diaz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Perda Segurio to the ground. Diaz is now in Perda Segurio's guard. Diaz has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Diaz trying to control but Perda Segurio is working from the bottom. Diaz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Perda Segurio's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Perda Segurio is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Perda Segurio is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Perda Segurio working a defensive guard here.

Diaz pivots and extends the arm, Perda Segurio falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Diaz! Well done that man!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bray looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Bray shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Kurtev is trying to defend but Bray finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Bray seems to be working for a kimura but Kurtev defends the submission attempt. Kurtev gets full guard. Kurtev will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takaziko goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Berglund swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. That kick from Takaziko tenderised Berglund's leg. Berglund is trying to keep his angry face on. Good shot there by Takaziko. Berglund waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Takaziko. Takaziko throws a leg kick that is checked and Berglund counters with a lovely straight right hand! Berglund fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Takaziko tries to score with a low kick but Berglund moves his leg out of the way. A swing and a miss from Berglund. Takaziko looks to score with a jab to the body but Berglund is just out of range. Takaziko misses with a left hand enabling Berglund to counter with a crisp jab.
Takaziko is rocked!
It looks like Mako Takaziko has been cut. Berglund misses the jab. Takaziko is still on wobbly legs! Can Berglund finish him? Berglund connects with the punch. Takaziko throws a leg kick but Berglund sees it coming and moves out of range. Takaziko throws out a token jab with nothing on it. This has been an exciting period of action! A leg kick checked by Takaziko. Takaziko seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Berglund throws a looping overhand right but Takaziko ducks down to avoid it. Berglund closes the distance and pushes Takaziko back into the cage. Takaziko breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Takaziko misses with a body shot.
Berglund loads up on a big right hand but Takaziko slips the punch. Takaziko throws a lazy uppercut
and Takaziko takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Takaziko lands a nice shot to the body.
Berglund has taken the fight to the clinch.
Takaziko misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Takaziko tries a body shot but Berglund blocks it.
Berglund blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Berglund breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Berglund cracks Takaziko with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Berglund is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all. Berglund ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Berglund swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Berglund checks a leg kick. As Takaziko backs away, Berglund returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Berglund moves out of range as Takaziko throws a body kick.
A little feinted left hand from Berglund on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Berglund waves his right hand out in front of him, looking to distract Takaziko. Oh, he's unloaded a beast of a left hand - it worked! He's dropped Takaziko to the canvas! Can he finish him!?
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Berglund prevents Takaziko from getting back to his feet. Berglund slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Berglund stands up and waves to Takaziko to follow him. Berglund misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Takaziko looks like he wants to counter punch here. A lazy left from Berglund finds it's target. Mako Takaziko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Berglund misses with a hook. Takaziko lands the left hand. Takaziko thows a left - swing and a miss! Takaziko throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Berglund is looking to counter punch. Takaziko thows a leg kick but Berglund checks it and Berglund counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Takaziko thows a leg kick but Berglund checks it and Berglund counters with a huge left! Takaziko is in big trouble! He's backing up but Berglund isn't giving him chance to recover. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tennessen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kaan is fending him off so far but Tennessen persists. Nope, Kaan circles away and we're back to standing. A little jabbing left from Kaan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tennessen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at MMA Dojo in the buildup to the fight. Kaan takes a swing at Tennessen's ribcage but misses. Tennessen changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tennessen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Kaan as he jumps to the side. Tennessen tries for a takedown but Kaan sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Caspian Tennessen. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kaan's jab looks to have found its range, popping Tennessen under the eye. Tennessen shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Kaan counters with a lovely straight right hand! A jab lands there for Kaan. Kaan moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Tennessen dives in for a single leg takedown but Kaan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kaan scores with a shot to the body.
No luck for Tennessen with that takedown attempt. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tennessen misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kaan scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Kaan scores with a body shot.
Tennessen tries for a takedown but Kaan circles away easily enabling Kaan to counter with a crisp jab. Anubis Kaan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Nice shot by Kaan. Tennessen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Tennessen there as he acknowledges the shot.
Tennessen is rocked! Kaan throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Oh Tennessen is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Tennessen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tennessen shoots in for a double leg but Kaan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Kaan swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Tennessen is breathing heavily. Kaan cracks Tennessen with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ziuzlikov changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Savov tries to avoid it but Ziuzlikov manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Savov to the ground. Savov escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Ziuzlikov fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Savov sprawls well initially but Ziuzlikov persists and gets the takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ground and pound from Ziuzlikov. Ziuzlikov content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Savov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ziuzlikov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Savov is not content to let Ziuzlikov control the position. Ziuzlikov is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Savov has a hand on Ziuzlikov's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Ziuzlikov takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Ziuzlikov lands a big elbow. Ziuzlikov swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Johnson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Valdaev stops Johnson from standing up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valdaev trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnson is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Johnson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Valdaev working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Johnson's head. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valdaev postures up in Johnson's guard and throws a big left but Johnson blocks it. Valdaev trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Valdaev stays in close to Johnson's body and controls the position. Johnson wants to stand but Valdaev is controlling the position. A close round but Altair Brain will probably get the nod. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nice uppercut there from Aziz. Aziz is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Brain. Brain throws a counter combo. A combination from Brain does no damage. Altair Brain is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Brain lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Aziz takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Aziz. An attempted straight right counter from Aziz misses the target. Altair Brain seems to be getting the better of the standup. A right-left combo lands from Brain. Brain lands with an uppercut that bounces Aziz off the cage and back into range. Aziz defending well as Brain loads up on a big left hand. A head kick from Brain lands but Aziz takes it in his stride. Aziz missing with a left hand there. Brain was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Aziz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brain manages to avoid it. Brain throws a wild body kick that Aziz sees coming a mile off. Aziz is looking to counter punch. Nice body kick from Brain. Brain misses with a right hand and Aziz counters with a straight right hand. Aziz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Aziz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Brain ducks right into an uppercut from Aziz. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Aziz tries to clinch but Brain is having none of it. Brain sizes up Aziz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Brain misses the shot to the body. Aziz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Brain misses with a few strikes there.
A big left from Aziz misses. A looping hook to the body misses from Aziz. Brain does a little dance to reset his feet. Aziz ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brain moves away. Aziz rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brain counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Brain swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Aziz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Brain throws a right and a left that both miss. Brain moves away from the strike by Aziz. Aziz connects with a looping right hand.
Brain dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Brain stalks Aziz and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Aziz's face. Aziz staggers backwards, shaken. A big right from Brain misses. Brain throws a sloppy head kick and Aziz moves out of range easily. Aziz tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Brain was well out of range. Poor timing from Aziz. Brain takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Brain is rocked! BOOM! Aziz lands a beautiful left hook that drops Brain. Brain tries to recover but Aziz is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Brain lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
