0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Horgen Stein! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson misses with an attempted mid kick.
Johnson looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Stein changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Stein thuds a left hand into Johnson's body. Johnson really is a fat lump. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Stein. Johnson throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Stein counters with a nice uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stein was well out of range. Poor timing from Johnson. Stein uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Johnson has time to react. A decent looking cross lands there for Stein.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Stein with a hook. Johnson takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Stein throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Stein is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Johnson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Johnson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Stein can pounce on him.
Johnson rushes Stein and pushes him back against the ropes in a clinch. A short right from Stein.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A quick uppercut on the inside from Stein. Johnson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Stein struggles to land a body shot inside as Johnson controls his hands.
Johnson works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stein. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stein lands a shot to the body. Johnson lands a right hand. Johnson misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stein.
Johnson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Stein or not. Stein looks winded! Johnson lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Johnson lands a right hand that snaps the head of Stein backwards. Stein misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Stein takes a shot to the head. Johnson lands a body shot. Stein doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A nice right hand lands inside from Johnson. Johnson using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Stein has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Johnson lands with a short head shot on the inside. A body shot lands from Johnson.
Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stein uses from the top position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Johnson holds on and takes a little breather. Johnson's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Johnson is looking for a triangle but Stein pushes his legs off easily.
Johnson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson seems keen to control Stein's posture. Johnson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stein manages to get himself to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Willie Johnson. I think Johnson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Marky with a nice cross. Marky misses with a jab to the body
and Rodriguez counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Marky just misses with a punch to the body.
Marky tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rodriguez was well out of range. Poor timing from Marky. Rodriguez goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
It looks like Zarky Marky has been cut. Marky lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Rodriguez at a distance.
Rodriguez misses with a kick to the body.
Rodriguez doesn't manage to clinch there - Marky circles away.
Rodriguez moves in looking to clinch but Marky pushes him off. Rodriguez drops his hands momentarily and Marky takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Rodriguez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A head kick from Rodriguez lands but Marky takes it in his stride. Marky fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rodriguez manages to avoid it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Marky throws out a powerful jab. Rodriguez on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

Marky moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Rodriguez throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Marky is looking to wear down Rodriguez with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Marky scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Rodriguez is looking to clinch. Marky comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Marky misses with a two punch combination.
Rodriguez throws a sloppy head kick and Marky moves out of range easily. Marky clobbers Rodriguez with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Marky works over Rodriguez's head and body with a nice combination. Marky throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Marky scores with a nice strike. Zarky Marky seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Marky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodriguez moves away. Rodriguez avoids the body shot from Marky.

Marky swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Rodriguez throws a head kick but Marky moves out of range.

Rodriguez tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rodriguez rushes Marky and presses him up against the ropes. I was talking to Marky's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Marky blocks an elbow strike from Rodriguez.
Marky on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Rodriguez crunches a lovely knee into Marky's ribcage. Rodriguez taking a breather. Rodriguez pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Marky misses with a wild body shot. Rodriguez walks into a left hand. Marky ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rodriguez moves away. Rodriguez throws a leg kick but Marky sees it coming and moves out of range. Rodriguez throws a leg kick which misses Marky's front leg but catches the back leg as Marky tries to avoid it. Marky misses the shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Marky swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Good exchange - Marky coming out on top. Marky lands with a straight right. Rodriguez didn't see that one coming. Nice uppercut lands for Marky. That snapped Rodriguez's head back.
Marky lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Rodriguez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Rodriguez takes a body punch but keeps moving. Marky takes a swing at Rodriguez's ribcage but misses. Marky is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Rodriguez drives through and clinches with Marky against the ropes.
Marky escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
The fighters circle, before Rodriguez throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Marky's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Rodriguez lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Guillermo Rodriguez! After winning the bout, Guillermo Rodriguez thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Alzamora misses with a looping right. Alzamora misses with a lunging right hand
and Trecozze cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Trecozze looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Alzamora! Trecozze wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Alzamora, who protects the arm well. Trecozze thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Alzamora is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Trecozze looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. You can see the frustration on Alzamora's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The ground and pound from Trecozze seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Alzamora can't do much from the bottom here. Trecozze has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Trecozze is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Alzamora is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Trecozze misses with the ground and pound. Trecozze working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Alzamora gets back to half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trecozze throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Alzamora is pressing down on Trecozze's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Alzamora trying to keep a closed guard but Trecozze is proving a slippery customer.

Alzamora is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Alzamora manages to kick Trecozze off! Trecozze jumps back into Alzamora's guard. Alzamora is trying to keep Trecozze in close.

Trecozze drives through with a takedown into Alzamora's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Alzamora misses with a straight left. Trecozze shoots for a double leg takedown but Alzamora sprawls well. He's pushed Trecozze's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. As Trecozze backs away, Alzamora returns fire with a leg kick that just misses. Trecozze shoots in for a takedown but Alzamora shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Alzamora appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Trecozze fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Alzamora avoids it really well and circles away. Trecozze is breathing heavily. Trecozze changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Alzamora looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Alzamora controls the position for a moment. Trecozze has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Trecozze shoots and misses and Alzamora counters with a flying knee that drops Trecozze! Alzamora dives in and finishes the fight with a flurry of strikes from the mount!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Andre Alzamora! Andre Alzamora very nearly forgot to thank Groove Gear amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you. Gino Trecozze spoke after the fight, saying 'And so I've lost. It sucks but that's what happened. I promise I'll back, stronger than ever! '.

Marquez stalling in the clinch but Dong improves position. Our sources have told us that Marquez has been working on his elbows in the gym. Marquez wants to stall.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Marquez throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dong blocks it with crossed arms. Marquez lands with a left to the head. A short right hand to the side of the head by Dong. Marquez wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dong has him pressed against the ropes. Marquez misses with a body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dong is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Dong is looking to control Marquez's arms but Marquez gets an underhook and turns him. Now Dong has his back to the ropes. Dong works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
A short right from Dong. Marquez throws a head punch that misses. With the fighters clinched against the ropes, Dong creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Marquez is rocked! A nice left hand lands by Dong.
Oh Marquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Dong manages to break the clinch.
Dong scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Marquez walks into a picture perfect straight right hand from Dong! He's gone down face first to the canvas, unconscious before he even hit the floor! Ohhhh. My. Goodness! That boys and girls was a beautiful knockout! Give that man a biscuit!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Trump takes a jab right on the kisser.
Trump dives in for a single leg takedown but Kostrov sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the ropes. Trump shoots in for a takedown but Kostrov shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Trump will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Kostrov lands an overhand right. Trump tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kostrov keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Kostrov is looking to counter punch. Kostrov fakes the leg kick and cracks Trump in the body. Kostrov fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Trump fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Kostrov throws a leg kick but Trump moved away. A punch lands to the side of Trump 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kostrov works Trump's body with a nice hook. Trump will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Kostrov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Kostrov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Trump is controlling him. Kostrov is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Trump dives into side control.
Kostrov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Trump wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Trump is staying tight to Kostrov's torso, preventing him from escaping. Kostrov tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Trump lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK. Well, with Trump on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Kostrov is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Trump is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Trump gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Trump gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Trump apologises and we restart here on the feet.
