The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore avoids the head kick by Swanson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petersen tries a head kick but it misses.
Eremeev fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Eremeev with a lazy takedown attempt and Petersen counters with a series of strikes. Eremeev will be more careful next time no doubt. Eremeev is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Eremeev takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Eremeev fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Petersen sprawls well initially but Eremeev persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Eremeev is pushing down on Petersen's leg trying to pass to half guard. Petersen is fighting to maintain full guard but Eremeev has managed to sneak the leg through. Eremeev has a takedown stuffed. Petersen feints and then cracks Eremeev's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Eremeev down. Petersen throws a low kick but Eremeev avoids it. Eremeev tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Petersen defends well and Eremeev ends up having to push Petersen into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Petersen feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Eremeevs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Good shot there by Petersen. That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Eremeev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Petersen - the referee stops the clock and Eremeev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Petersen. Eremeev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Petersen scores with a crisp jab that stopped Eremeev in his tracks. Petersen scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Andrey Eremeev is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Eremeev shoots for a double leg takedown but Petersen sprawls well. He's pushed Eremeev's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Petersen was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Steven Petersen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrey Eremeev. A nice leg kick lands there from Petersen. A nice combination there by Petersen.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Eremeev goes for a double leg but Petersen avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Petersen continues to drive forward. Petersen lands a nice shot that snaps Eremeev's head back.

Synyx Dall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hanma moves out of range of the strikes. Dall throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Dall with a jab. Dall cracks Hanma with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Hanma throws a jab when Dall was well out of range. Hanma throws a big shot that misses. A clash of legs there as Dall blocks the low kick. Dall cracks Hanma with a right hand to the side of the head. That was a close round but I would say that Synyx Dall will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Synyx Dall's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Riggs scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. A jab from Riggs finds it's way through Laliberte's defenses. Riggs pivots, looking for a leg kick but Laliberte is out of range and Riggs settles back down. Laliberte moves out of range of the strikes. A nice side step and Laliberte releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Riggs looks to land a left hand but Laliberte moved out of range nicely. We've been hearing reports that Riggs has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Laliberte misses with a hook. Riggs uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Laliberte.
