The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horiguchi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Horiguchi throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
The fighters circling - Dannis throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
The crowd cheers as Horiguchi lands an impressive looking overhand right. Dannis doesn't seem phased though.
Dannis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Dannis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Horiguchi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Dannis throws a hook but Horiguchi blocks it.

Horiguchi has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Far-Q Fight Club in the buildup to the fight.
Dannis takes a shot right to the bread basket.

Dannis tries to keep at a distance but Horiguchi has taken the fight into the clinch.

Dannis dives in and grabs Horiguchi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Horiguchi pushes down on Dannis's head and hops out.

Dannis tries to pull guard but Horiguchi holds him up against the cage and eventually Dannis drops back down to his feet.

Horiguchi clobbers Dannis with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

Dannis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lucio Francisco Carmo (ranked 3675 p4p, 123 weight class) and Joey Bam Bam (ranked 4225 p4p, 57 weight class). Carmo comes into the arena with Rolling Stones - Paint it, Black blaring out of the sound system. Bam Bam has chosen Sleep Now In The Fire as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lucio Francisco Carmo.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rram lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Baals has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Baals and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Rram feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Baalss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rram sets himself, and Baals steps forward looking for the clinch! Rram avoids it this time.

And that's the end of the fight!
Nosyaj Rram showed his dominance in that final round.
