Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Oshan Jackson (ranked 1926 p4p, 130 weight class) and Ma Moru (ranked 1587 p4p, 107 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Oshan Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ma Moru! The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moru throws a half hearted mid kick. Moru fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jackson manages to avoid it. Moru slips a jab and a cross from Jackson.
Moru ducks under a wild hook from Jackson. Jackson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Welch Boxing Club in the buildup to the fight. Moru bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Nice shot lands for Moru. Jackson misses with a wild combination.

Moru wants to counter the offense by Jackson and move into the clinch position. Moru dodges the punch combination from Jackson.

Jackson takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Moru scores with a hook. Oshan Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! No joy there for Jackson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Jackson tries for a takedown but Moru circles away easily and Moru counters with a head kick. That will keep Jackson thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Oshan Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

A head kick misses from Moru. Jackson throws a looping overhand right but Moru ducks down to avoid it. A nice side step and Moru releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Moru has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Jackson takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Moru connects with a body shot. Moru dodges the punch combination from Jackson.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jackson feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morus jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Moru stuns Jackson with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Moru swats away the attempt to clinch by Jackson. Jackson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Moru connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Jackson scrambles back to his feet. Jab by Jackson. Jackson shoots in for a takedown but Moru shows good takedown defense. Jackson throws a head kick that misses. Moru tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Moru's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Moru duly obliges. Moru connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jackson momentarily.
Jackson manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Moru on his heels. He'll look to pass Moru's guard now, I'm sure. Moru manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jackson manages to get himself to full guard.

Jackson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Moru gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jackson keeping moving, preventing Moru from controlling successfully. Moru content to stall in guard here. Moru with a nice head shot there. Moru tries to stand but Jackson is controlling from the bottom. Moru trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Moru trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Moru won't allow Jackson to sweep him here. Moru tries to free his leg and advance position but Jackson is retaining full guard. Moru trying to control but Jackson is working from the bottom. Moru wants to get up but he can't break Jackson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Jackson utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Jackson controls Moru momentarily but Moru frees himself. Jackson is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moru is controlling him.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Moru dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Jackson moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Moru counters with a nice uppercut. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Moru ducks right into an uppercut from Jackson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ma Moru showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Jackson throws a jab when Moru was well out of range. Jackson takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Jackson looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Jackson shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Moru counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Moru swings and misses with a hook to the body.

A left and a right from Jackson both land. Nice combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moru lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Moru is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

And that's the end of the fight! Ma Moru comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Moru has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eremeev shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Elkemenchi is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Eremeev dives into side control.
Eremeev remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Elkemenchi is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Elkemenchi is not content to let Eremeev control the position. Eremeev will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Eremeev is hanging on to Elkemenchi's back as he tries to escape.

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Eremeev is looking to pass Elkemenchi's guard but actually Elkemenchi recovers to full guard. Eremeev stays in close to Elkemenchi's body and controls the position. Eremeev seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Elkemenchi for as long as he can get away with.
That's three minutes gone in the round. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Elkemenchi is on top in guard.
Elkemenchi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eremeev swivels though and keeps the full guard. Elkemenchi stays in close to Eremeev's body and controls the position. Eremeev keeping full guard, as Elkemenchi tries to pass. Eremeev really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Elkemenchi is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Elkemenchi with a nice head shot there. Eremeev looking for a sweep. Not yet Eremeev, not yet. Elkemenchi working some strikes from top position. Elkemenchi avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Eremeev has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Elkemenchi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Eremeev escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Elkemenchi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Eremeev is looking for a triangle but Elkemenchi pushes his legs off easily.
And that's the end of the fight! Evgeni Elkemenchi comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Elkemenchi has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Metaxas stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Feti. Feti needs to keep his hands up - Metaxas had a free shot at his head there. Metaxas lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Feti!
It looks like Atlas Metaxas has been cut. Metaxas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Feti did well to prevent Metaxas getting side control. Feti is trying to maintain the position but Metaxas is very close to passing his half guard. Feti is staying active underneath Metaxas, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Metaxas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Feti doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Metaxas. Metaxas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Feti sees it coming and defends easily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Feti trying to control here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Feti is not content to let Metaxas control the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Metaxas lands a nice short elbow. Feti avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Metaxas. Metaxas has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Metaxas is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Feti has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Feti! Metaxas controls Feti momentarily but Feti frees himself.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Feti's corner is telling him to maintain position. Feti trying to control but Metaxas is working from the bottom. Feti is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Metaxas wants to sweep here but Feti controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Feti trying to control but Metaxas is working from the bottom. Feti is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Metaxas looking for subs off his back but Feti has passed one foot through into half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Feti sitting and controlling from the half guard. Metaxas actively working from the bottom here. Feti looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Feti thuds a left hand into Metaxas's body. Feti takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Metaxas defending well as Feti loads up on a big left hand. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Metaxas's corner calls for a 1-2. Metaxas obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Feti checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. No joy there for Metaxas, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Metaxas cracks Feti with a right hand to the side of the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Atlas Metaxas dominated that round. The cut man is working on Atlas Metaxas's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A head kick misses from Metaxas. Feti scores with the left hand. Metaxas knows he should have avoided that one. Metaxas moves out of range as Feti strikes. It looked like Metaxas wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Metaxas seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Feti displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Metaxas. Metaxas fails to land the takedown. Metaxas throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. A big right from Metaxas misses. Metaxas misses with a takedown attempt letting Feti counter with a right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Atlas Metaxas. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Metaxas tries to move into range but Feti moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Metaxas doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Metaxas throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Feti sees it coming and avoids it easily. Feti lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Metaxas up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Feti from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Metaxas's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Sione Feti! A relieved looking Sione Feti thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

It looks like Rian MacFarlane has been cut. MacFarlane moves in looking to clinch but Clay pushes him off. Clay misses with a lunging right hand
and MacFarlane counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Clay misses the jab. MacFarlane appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. MacFarlane tests Clay's chin there with a solid looking shot. Clay's hands are dropping dangerously low here and MacFarlane connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Clay scrambles back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MacFarlane misses with a straight left. MacFarlane bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Clay's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Clay punishes MacFarlane's body with a nice straight punch. A jab from Clay does it's job there. MacFarlane tries to clinch but fails miserably and Clay counters with a right hand to the body. Some wild striking there from MacFarlane.
Clay thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on MacFarlane if he has to take too many more of those.
MacFarlane looks winded! Clay throws a lazy uppercut
and MacFarlane cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Clay cracks MacFarlane with a hook to the temple - MacFarlane is on wobbly legs here! Clay swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! MacFarlane falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Clay wins by TKO!

Marcellus Clay tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool. In defeat, Rian MacFarlane stepped up to the mic, saying 'Sorry guys everything is still fuzzy... but I think he tapped out... so it is what it is... who am I again?'.

Neil throws a big shot that misses. Moore fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Neil looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Moore looks to throw the jab but Neil is out of range. Neil bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Moore shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Neil jabs Moore right on the nose. Moore blinks but takes it well. Moore uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Neil.
A big left from Moore misses. Moore takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A looping hook to the body misses from Neil. Moore does a little dance to reset his feet. Neil lands a nice shot to the body.

Luckily it didn't land flush. Moore throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Neil's waist but Neil gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Moore off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore swings widly with a right hand
and Neil counters with a series of strikes. Moore will be more careful next time no doubt. Moore throws a leg kick but Neil sees it coming and checks it nicely. Neil throws a powerful right kick. Moore tried to block low but the kick was high! Moore was taken right off of his feet! Neil jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Durden throws a body punch but Ribbler moves out of range. Ribbler appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Durden connects with a single shot there. Ribbler with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ribbler takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Durden misses with a double jab.
Durden getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Durden cracks Ribbler with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. A punch lands to the side of Durden 's head but he takes it in his stride. Jab by Durden. Durden scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Durden with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Durden clobbers Ribbler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Ribbler throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Durden counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ribbler uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Durden. Durden slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Durden is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Ribbler had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Durden blocks a jab. Durden gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Durden looks to throw the jab but Ribbler is out of range. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Durden checks a leg kick. A good leg kick by Durden. Ribbler throws a hook but Durden avoids it easily. Nice jab there from Ribbler. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Durden. Ribbler throws a quick counter kick to the body but Durden avoids it. Durden has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Tyler Durden is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ribbler gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Durden. Ribbler keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Durden tries to land a front kick but Ribbler steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ribbler shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durden lands with a nice body punch. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Durden, right into the meat.
Ribbler throws a right hand that Durden ducks under and follows up with a left that Durden also avoids with ease. Nice shot lands for Durden. Durden lands with an uppercut that bounces Ribbler off the cage and back into range. Ribbler scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Durden lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

Ribbler is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight. Ribbler takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ribbler moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Ribbler drops his hands momentarily and Durden takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Durden throws a right hand that misses
and Ribbler counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ribbler scores with a spinning back kick! Ribbler attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Durden misses with an uppercut. That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Heavyweight scores the big KO victory!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steve throws a predictable looking body shot
and Lõhmus counters with a straight right hand. Steve misses with a wild body shot. Steve misses the body punch and Lõhmus counters with a left to the body. Steve looks to score with a jab to the body but Lõhmus is just out of range. Steve misses with a body shot.

Steve fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Steve throws a body shot but no joy. Steve fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lõhmus manages to avoid it. Lõhmus drops Steve with a beautiful combination! Steve stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lõhmus is looking for the KO!
