Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcellus Clay (ranked 1288 p4p, 155 weight class) and Ricardo Del Brophy (ranked 2383 p4p, 254 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Ricardo Del Brophy was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Decent striking displayed by Clay there.
It looks like Ricardo Del Brophy has been cut. Clay takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
A looping hook to the body misses from Clay. Del Brophy does a little dance to reset his feet. Clay throws an off balance right hand
and Del Brophy counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Del Brophy tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Del Brophy buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Clay throws a big shot that misses. Del Brophy throws a head kick that half lands.
Clay fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Del Brophy on the side of the head. Del Brophy misses with a lunging right hand
and Clay counters with a nice right hand that sends Del Brophy toppling to the canvas! Del Brophy scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Clay finish him?! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Clay pivots, looking for a leg kick but Del Brophy is out of range and Clay settles back down.

Del Brophy throws a sloppy head kick and Clay counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Del Brophy goes for a double leg but Clay avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Clay continues to drive forward. Del Brophy throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Clay was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Clay throws a right and a left that Del Brophy avoids nicely.

and Del Brophy counters with a head kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Del Brophy connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Clay cracks Del Brophy with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Marcellus Clay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Del Brophy stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Clay tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Del Brophy was well out of range. Poor timing from Clay. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Marcellus Clay will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Ricardo Del Brophy's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Clay cracks Del Brophy with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Clay has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Del Brophy to stand back up! Del Brophy is still on wobbly legs! Can Clay finish him?
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ricardo Del Brophy's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Marcellus Clay! In his post fight interview, Marcellus Clay started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Ishimura throws a lazy right hand but DeBrusk sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. DeBrusk swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. DeBrusk throws a hook to the side of Ishimura's head but Ishimura sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ishimura slips a straight right by DeBrusk. DeBrusk takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. DeBrusk looks for the body kick but Ishimura saw that one coming. Ishimura throws a leg kick and DeBrusk counters with a straight right hand. Ishimura misses with a two punch combination.

DeBrusk moves forwards but Ishimura connects with a nice, crisp jab. DeBrusk thuds his right hand into Ishimura's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
