The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Odongkara thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Pesalelei if he has to take too many more of those.
Pesalelei takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Odongkara throws a leg kick that is checked and Pesalelei counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Odongkara throws a leg kick and Pesalelei counters with a straight right hand. Pesalelei fails in his attempt to clinch. Pesalelei scores with the left hand. Odongkara knows he should have avoided that one. A swing and a miss from Pesalelei. Pesalelei tries to close the distance and clinch but Odongkara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Odongkara lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Pesalelei lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Pesalelei darts in and clinches Odongkara up against the ropes. Odongkara lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Pesalelei definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A short right from Odongkara.

Pesalelei is rocked! With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Pesalelei just misses with a elbow thrown towards Odongkara's brow. Oh Pesalelei is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Odongkara creates a bit of distance and cracks Pesalelei with a big uppercut! Pesalelei goes down! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Idrisov Ii throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hunt on the side of the head. Idrisov Ii clinches up against the ropes. Idrisov Ii has Hunt pressed against the ropes, preventing Hunt from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Hunt is trying to break the clinch but Idrisov Ii has him pressed against the ropes. A short right from Idrisov Ii on the inside. Hunt misses with some punches.

Idrisov Ii wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Idrisov Ii moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut. Idrisov Ii connects with a right hand. Hunt shakes it off. Idrisov Ii seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Hunt takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Hunt is rocked! Idrisov Ii dances in with a quick combination. Hunt is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Idrisov Ii snaps Hunt's head back. Hunt stumbles backwards against the ropes. Idrisov Ii steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Hunt's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Hunt just didn't come prepared.

Giroud has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Smith lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Giroud or not. Smith lands a left hand that snaps the head of Giroud backwards. Giroud swings away with an uppercut that misses.

A quick step to the side and Kaminski tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Kamil Kaminski seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Takemura walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Kaminski really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Takemura misses with a right hand enabling Kaminski to counter with a crisp jab. and Kaminski counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ryu Takemura has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kamil Kaminski is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Takemura throws a body shot but no joy.

Kovingten crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Maartins - the referee stops the clock and Kovingten gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Maartins. Kovingten manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Maartins wants to land a leg kick but Kovingten is out of range. Kovingten swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Maartins throws a half hearted mid kick. Kovingten scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Kovingten fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Maartins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Kovingten throws a good cross that connects.
Maartins throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kovingten throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Kovingten lands a slapping body shot.
Boom! Kovingten lands a massive head kick that sends Maartins crashing into the ropes, followed by a classic face plant on the canvas! He's up to his knees but he's not going to beat the count - this one is all over! Kovingten is jumping around like a lunatic, extatic with the win!

Cook cracks Nukem with a good jab. Nukem feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cooks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Solomon Cook has been cut. We've been informed that Nukem has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Nukem connects with a solid leg kick. Nukem walks into a stiff left hand from Cook. Nukem has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cook finds it's way round the side to connect with Nukem's head. Nukem connects with a solid leg kick. Crunch! Cook slams his shin into Nukem's torso. Nukem showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cook.

He turned his hip over nicely there. Nukem slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Nukem wants to slow Cook down by chopping away at his legs. Cook scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. A big right from Nukem misses. Nukem throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Cook looks low and kicks high, catching Nukem right on the side of the head, sending him crashing to the canvas! Will he be able to beat the count? 3,4,5 - he's already back to his feet and ready to go! Let's see if he's still with it!
Nukem is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cook throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The fighters circle momentarily. Nukem darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cook.
Cook scores with a decent looking hook. Nukem is still on wobbly legs! Can Cook finish him? Cook lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Nukem crumples to the floor! Cook milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
