This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Choi throws a lazy right hand but MacAuliffe sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

MacAuliffe feints and as Choi raises his hands in defense, MacAuliffe changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
MacAuliffe won't allow Choi to get back to his feet.
MacAuliffe passes Choi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

MacAuliffe is working for a submission of some sort.
MacAuliffe is keen to just control but Choi is a slippery customer.
MacAuliffe is really struggling to control Choi but he's trying to hold on to the position.

We've been hearing good reports from MacAuliffe's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

MacAuliffe postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Choi in real trouble here! The ref calls for Choi to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
