Bamalog kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Stubborn Robot Original Nuttah. Wall is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Metallica - Enter Sandman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vermeulen moves out of range as Chlapik strikes. Vermeulen uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Chlapik. Vermeulen swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Chlapik fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Vermeulen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Chlapik rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Vermeulen counters with a lovely shot to the body. Chlapik misses with a kick to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chlapik lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Vermeulen circles away quickly and effectively. Both fighters circling a little - Chlapik finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Vermeulen has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Arm Breakers/BJJ in the buildup to the fight. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cane misses the jab. Cane on the wrong end of a nice jab. Experiment lV throws a jab when Cane was well out of range. Cane connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Experiment lV's hands. Cane definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. A left lands for Cane. and Coker counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Reid attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Coker tries a quick counter leg kick but Reid is wise to it. A slow jab from Reid misses its intended target. Reid scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Coker with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Reid to score with a decent uppercut. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Reid.

A left lands for Reid. Coker's coach down at White Eagle was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Coker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Crack! A monster head kick from Coker and Reid falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Coker!

Infidellus throws a combination that misses enabling Beast to counter with a crisp jab. The fighters circling - Infidellus throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Beast has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Fresh INC in the buildup to the fight. Infidellus lands with a shot to the body. Infidellus circles away from the clinch attempt.
Beast is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Infidellus's half guard. Beast is trying to control the action in half guard but Infidellus is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. DeSilva tries to land a front kick but Bangsit steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Bangsit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but DeSilva avoids it really well and circles away. DeSilva ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bangsit moves away. Bangsit with the counter takedown but DeSilva avoids it easily. DeSilva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bangsit shoots in looking for a takedown. DeSilva tries to sprawl out of it but Bangsit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. DeSilva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. DeSilva tries a head kick but it misses.
A punch combination from DeSilva misses. DeSilva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. DeSilva throws a leg kick which misses Bangsit's front leg but catches the back leg as Bangsit tries to avoid it. DeSilva lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
DeSilva misses with a hook. Bangsit ducked under it nicely. And Bangsit tries to counter it with a takedown but DeSilva pushes his down on his head and steps out. DeSilva cracks Bangsit with an open hand slap. DeSilva chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Antonio Mauricio DeSilva is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bangsit has a takedown stuffed. DeSilva keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

DeSilva is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Bangsit keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
DeSilva throws the kick towards the body but Bangsit avoids it. Bangsit fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging DeSilva to the ground. Bangsit is now in DeSilva's guard. DeSilva is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bangsit can do to turn this around? Bangsit works a leg free and moves into half guard. Bangsit seems to be working for a kimura but DeSilva defends the submission attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bangsit is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so DeSilva is just riding it out for now. Bangsit eventually gives up the hold. DeSilva is looking to improve his position.

Bangsit is looking for a kimura but DeSilva is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bangsit to get the leverage. DeSilva moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bangsit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. DeSilva swivels though and keeps the full guard. DeSilva wants to stand and escape but Bangsit is having none of it. Bangsit in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bangsit loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Bangsit throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. DeSilva trying to control the position here. DeSilva has momentary wrist control but Bangsit slips an elbow through the middle. Bangsit postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Bangsit postures up in DeSilva's guard and throws a big left but DeSilva blocks it. Bangsit is looking to work some ground and pound but DeSilva has wrist control. Bangsit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. DeSilva looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bangsit is one step ahead there. DeSilva can't keep his opponent in guard - Bangsit advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Bangsit is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! DeSilva is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
