27 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Zsiga Venczel! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Golem misses with a body kick. Golem lands a lovely overhand right. Venczel throws a leg kick which misses Golem's front leg but catches the back leg as Golem tries to avoid it. Golem lands a jab to Venczel's midsection. Venczel walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Golem misses with a body shot.

Venczel connects with a body shot. Venczel lands a leg kick that knocks Golem off balance momentarily. A chopping leg kick lands by Venczel. Venczel misses with an uppercut
and Golem counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Golem closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Golem lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Golem stalks Venczel and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Venczel's face. Venczel staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Zsiga Venczel has been cut. Venczel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Venczel is rocked! Venczel feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Golem's calf. Venczel is still on wobbly legs! Can Golem finish him?
That's one minute gone in the round. Golem misses with a body kick. Venczel seems to have recovered his senses. Golem steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Venczel. That one must have hurt. Emet Golem is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Venczel fails in his attempt to clinch. Golem was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Venczel misses with an uppercut. A counter left hand to the body from Golem misses its target. Golem keeps the fight on the outside. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Venczel.
Venczel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Golem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Venczel lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Golem has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Golem and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Golem misses with a looping right. Golem takes one to the side of the head.

Venczel misses with a straight left. Golem takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Golem wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Golem tries to bum rush Venczel with a series of wild strikes but Venczel uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Golem goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Venczel slips under a jab from Golem. Golem throws a right hand that misses
and Golem takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Golem steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Venczel. Left hook, right uppercut from Golem. Golem displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Venczel tries to clinch up. Venczel looks to throw the jab but Golem is out of range. Golem quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. Venczel fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. A lazy body kick from Golem and Venczel counters with a slapping leg kick. Golem scores with a head kick.
Golem throws a wild body kick that Venczel sees coming a mile off. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Venczel misses with an uppercut. A telegraphed right hand from Golem misses the target. Venczel stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Venczel cracks Golem with a good jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Emet Golem will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Zsiga Venczel's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Venczel's coach down at UnderGround Wrestling and Jiu Jitsu was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Venczel's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Nice straight punches there by Venczel. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Venczel. Venczel throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Venczel swings away with a leg kick that misses. Venczel looks to land a left hand but Golem moved out of range nicely. Golem avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Golem was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Venczel uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Golem. Venczel only half commits to the counter leg kick. Venczel tries to clinch but Golem is having none of it. Golem swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Venczel has Golem up against the ropes in a clinch.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Venczel throws a leg kick but Golem sees it coming and moves out of range. Golem throws a quick counter head kick but Venczel was just out of range. Golem tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Venczel swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Golem tries a head kick but it misses.
Venczel darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Venczel tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Golem manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Venczel misses with a low kick.
Golem misses with a straight left. Golem throws a hook but Venczel blocks it. Emet Golem is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jab, jab by Golem - just one landing. Golem moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Golem connects with a right hand. Venczel shakes it off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Golem gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Venczel throws an elbow that misses. Golem uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Venczel's guard. Nice move by Golem! Venczel looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Golem would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Venczel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Golem is one step ahead there. Emet Golem is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Venczel is trying to control the position but Golem postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Venczel is looking for a triangle but Golem pushes his legs off easily.

Venczel looking to hit a scissor sweep but Golem is one step ahead there. Venczel has a closed guard, preventing Golem from standing up. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Venczel looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Emet Golem. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Golem, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Rigano is trying to get an arm triangle but Aoki is defending well. Aoki wants to control but Rigano postures up. Rigano wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Aoki, who protects the arm well. Rigano tries for a kimura but Aoki is defending well. Rigano tries to work over Aoki's front leg with a kick but Aoki checks it. Aoki was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Aoki gets the takedown into side control. Aoki lands a decent elbow from side control. Aoki trying to control the position but Rigano is working away. Aoki lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Rigano is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Aoki off and has taken his back! No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McGrady wants to control the position but Megalos says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pocc gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Gin counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Pocc thinking. Pocc rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Gin counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Pocc has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gin clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Gin trying to get back to his feet but Pocc is in full control for now. Pocc lands an elbow to the side of the head. Gin trying to get back to his feet but Pocc is in full control for now. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Pocc has his opponent's back and is working for the choke. A lull in the action here.

Pocc is trying to drag Gin to the mat but Gin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there. A short body shot lands from Gin as the two fighters clinch.

That was a close round but I would say that Jargon Gin will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Pocc steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Gin. Pocc tries for a takedown but Gin circles away easily and Gin counters with a one-two to the body. Pocc fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Gin lands a nice hook to Pocc's body. Pocc takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Pocc. Jargon Gin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tusing Pocc. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gin lands a high kick!
Pocc is rocked! Pocc shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Gin as he jumps to the side.

Gin points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Pocc wakes up just in time to hear Gin thank his coaches in the post fight interview.
