It looked like Kholin was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kholin throws a right hand that Fitch ducks under and follows up with a left that Fitch also avoids with ease.
Kholin fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Fitch has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fitch throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kholin sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Nice body punch from Fitch.

Kholin sizes up Fitch with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Fitch is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

and Kholin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Fitch tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Kholin just stands there and leans against the cage.
Kholin lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kholin digs a right hand underneath Fitch's ribcage. Fitch let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Kholin has Fitch pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kholin pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Fitch tumbling to the mat - Kholin dives into Fitch's guard.

Kholin content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Fitch has locked up a guillotine! Fitch's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Kholin is holding on here and Fitch must be using up a lot of energy. Kholin has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Fitch gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Shabazz has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Shabazz with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Borcea lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
A right handed body shot lands from Borcea.
Shabazz has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Borcea avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Shabazz can't find room to land a body shot as Borcea controls the action.

Shabazz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Borcea backwards.

Shabazz has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Borcea regains guard immediately.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A big head kick from Nadir and Monto is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Davido Monto has been cut.

Monto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Nadir defends it easily.

Monto has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nadir is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Monto.
Monto tries to bench press Nadir off him but Nadir keeps the position.
Monto manages to work his way to half guard, despite Nadir's best efforts.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nadir is taking a breather. Monto says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Monto is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Nadir is tapping! Great win for Monto!
