3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dale Holloway! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holloway gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Kokorin tries to free his leg and advance position but Holloway is retaining full guard. Holloway is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Kokorin is aware though and is defending well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holloway is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Holloway had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kokorin defends it easily. Kokorin tries to free his leg and advance position but Holloway is retaining full guard. Holloway throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Holloway has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Kokorin can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Kokorin drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kokorin jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kokorin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Kokorin is trying to get an arm triangle but Holloway is defending well. Kokorin tries for a kimura but Holloway is defending well.

Holloway is looking to control Kokorin's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Holloway avoid being mounted? Kokorin is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Holloway has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Holloway looking for submissions off his back. Holloway is trying to maintain the position but Kokorin is very close to passing his half guard. Kokorin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Holloway is just riding it out for now. Kokorin eventually gives up the hold. Holloway tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Kokorin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kokorin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Holloway looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hagler moves in looking to clinch but Pallero pushes him off. Hagler throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Pallero. Pallero attempts a counter takedown but Hagler avoids it well and moves away. Pallero defending well as Hagler loads up on a big left hand. Marcus Hagler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hagler with a hook. Hagler has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Pallero is landing a low percentage of strikes. Pallero takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Hagler misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Pallero changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice shot lands for Hagler. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pallero chips away with some ground and pound. Pallero trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hagler wants to stand up but Pallero is controlling him. Pallero has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Pallero controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Pallero stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hagler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pallero is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Pallero is working Hagler over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Pallero is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Pallero slips under a jab from Hagler. Pallero changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Pallero!

Peaky Boy throws a right hand that Maxamadov ducks under and follows up with a left that Maxamadov also avoids with ease. Peaky Boy tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Maxamadov was well out of range. Poor timing from Peaky Boy. Maxamadov ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Fyurin Maxamadov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peaky Boy rushes Maxamadov and presses him up against the cage. Maxamadov misses with a hook to the ribs.

Maxamadov might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Peaky Boy shoots in but Maxamadov avoids the takedown attempt easily. Peaky Boy throws out a loose jab but Maxamadov uses good head movement to avoid it. Maxamadov fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Peaky Boy is rocked! Maxamadov plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Peaky Boy to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Peaky Boy just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Hands's coach down at Temple of Illumination was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hands's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Davidson instigates a clinch. Davidson tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Hands prevents the takedown attempt.
