and Aldo counters with a lovely straight right hand!
A slow jab from Thompson misses its intended target.
Thompson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Aldo but Aldo pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Thompson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
KJ Aldo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Thompson.

Thompson's eyes roll back! The referee calls for the bell and Aldo runs up the cage to celebrate with his fans!
