Stickmann fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops William to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! William looks to clinch but Stickmann throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! William taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Gilchrist turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Gilchrist manages to end up in side control.
Patterson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gilchrist wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Patterson told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet.

Gilchrist is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Patterson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've been hearing good reports from Gilchrist's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
