Viitta is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Kelly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kelly loads up on a big right hand but Viitta slips the punch. River did well to prevent Sripituksakul getting side control. Sripituksakul is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

We've been hearing reports that Johnson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Fox throws out a loose jab but Johnson uses good head movement to avoid it. Johnson is looking to counter punch. Johnson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Johnson was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Fox lands an overhand right.

Liszorr misses with an uppercut. Valdes tests Liszorr's chin there with a solid looking shot. Liszorr pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Valdes goes for a double leg but Liszorr avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Liszorr continues to drive forward. Daiyan Valdes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Valdes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Liszorr sees that one coming and sprawls well. Liszorr might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
