 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Papo. Papo tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Nurmagomedov swivels and escapes. A countering left hand to the body from Nurmagomedov misses. Nurmagomedov avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Papo throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Nurmagomedov on the side of the head. Papo takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Pablo Itzpapalotltotec is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Goulding throws a hook to the side of Itzpapalotltotec's head but Itzpapalotltotec sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Well Itzpapalotltotec has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.  The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A head kick misses from Atkins. Atkins feints and then cracks Jinx's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Jinx down. Atkins takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Atkins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jinx throws out the jab. And Atkins responds with a good body kick, but Jinx manages to step out the way in time. Jinx definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Atkins throws a lazy body kick and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Atkins is looking to score with low kicks. Atkins misses with a lunging right hand
and Jinx makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Atkins throws a head kick but Jinx moves out of range.

and Palooka takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Palooka throws a hook to the side of Dibangu's head but Dibangu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Dibangu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Palooka walks into a jab. Palooka lands the left hand. Dibangu keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Palooka. Dibangu misses with a looping left. Palooka falls off balance throwing a combination

Luthor works a leg free and moves into half guard. Luthor not landing any meaningful shots this time. Luthor lands strikes from half guard. Lex Luthor has got the better of the ground game so far. Luthor thows a huge punch but Marshall dodges it nicely.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Luthor perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Marshall is trying to stand.
Marshall is not content to let Luthor control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Luthor working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Marshall is staying active underneath Luthor, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Luthor content to control rather than advance.

The Perfectionist misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
The Perfectionist throws an elbow but Aleksy slips to the side and avoids it well. We've been informed that The Perfectionist has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Aleksy wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! The ground and pound from The Perfectionist seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The Perfectionist gets to mount! Aleksy was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Smith has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Smith misses with a looping left. Good exchange - Matsuzaka coming out on top. Matsuzaka fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Matsuzaka lands a body shot.

A lazy left from Dudayev finds it's target. Dudayev comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Hart takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
 Hart is rocked! Dudayev drops Hart with a big left hand! Hart is injured, injured bad! Dudayev jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
