James closes the distance and clinches up with Calderwood, looking for a takedown. James pushes Calderwood against the cage but Calderwood circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

James's coach down at Star Studded Beef was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on James's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Jaqeli's coach down at Canucks Combat Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jaqeli's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Jaqeli lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Jaqeli keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Hric's efforts to push away.
With the fighters up against the cage, Jaqeli throws an elbow but misses.
Hric is trying to break free.

Jaqeli breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hric throws a series of punches but Jaqeli moves out of range.
Hric scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Hric throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hric shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Jaqeli eats them both and turns towards Hric to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Hric lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Hric looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A nice side step and Jaqeli releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Jaqeli takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Jaqeli is rocked!
Hric lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Jaqeli falls backwards - clearly groggy! Hric dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
