These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

With a record of 16 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hellas Pankratios! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Paul Tew.

That's better than Pankratios was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Hiko struggling a bit here. Hiko is not content to let Pankratios control the position. Possibly, maybe, no Pankratios has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hiko is looking to reverse the position.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hiko with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Hiko tries to roll over but Pankratios keeps him under control. Pankratios controlling the pace. Hiko wants to improve his position but Pankratios is controlling well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Pankratios lands a nice short elbow. Aki Hiko's cut is getting worse.

Of Hand rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nig moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nig throws a leg kick that is checked enabling Of Hand to counter with a crisp jab. Of Hand bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Of Hand raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Of Hand blocks a jab. Nig scores with a punch to the head. Nig swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Of Hand. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The fighters circling - Nig throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Nig Nig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Of Hand misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

A little jabbing left from Of Hand on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Of Hand checks the leg kick. Of Hand punishes Nig's body with a nice straight punch. Nig feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Of Hands jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Nig lands a leg kick that knocks Of Hand off balance momentarily. Nig jabs Of Hand to the body, keeping him at a distance. Nig slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Of Hand swings for the body but Nig moves out of range.

Of Hand thinks about the counter body kick. Of Hand looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Of Hand thuds his right hand into Nig's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. It looks like Nig Nig has been cut. Nig dips to his left and cracks Of Hand with an uppercut! Nig thows a leg kick but Of Hand checks it and Of Hand counters with a nice uppercut. The crowd cheers as Nig lands an impressive looking overhand right. Of Hand doesn't seem phased though. Nice body kick from Of Hand. Nig scores with a nice head shot. Nig cracks a nice hook into Of Hand's ribs. Of Hand throws a lazy right hand but Nig sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Nig stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Of Hand keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A nice side step and Of Hand releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Nig lands a glancing blow to the side of Of Hand's head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nig smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Of Hand swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Of Hand on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nig wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. A jab from Of Hand misses. Nig throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Both these guys seem content to just stand up and trade with eachother but Of Hand might want to think about changing up his gameplan a bit because over the course of the fight, Nig has got the better of the exchanges. That's gotta hurt. Nig throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Of Hand stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Nig dodges the punch combination from Of Hand.
A jab from Nig does it's job there. Sleight Of Hand has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
