Burnham closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Jukola swings for the body but Burnham moves out of range.
Jukola will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Burnham will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Lester Burnham seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jukola drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Burnham right on the button. Burnham goes down! Jukola follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Jukola gets the win via TKO!

Ribbit throws a jab when Kuwabara was well out of range.
Kuwabara is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Ribbit with a body shot.
We've been told by Ribbit's head coaches at Temple of Illumination that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Kuwabara closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Ribbit's guard.
Ribbit wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Kuwabara thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kuwabara drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ribbit dives on top into guard.

Kuwabara escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ribbit gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Kuwabara bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Ribbit's guard.
Kuwabara drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ribbit dives on top into guard.
Kuwabara working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ribbit doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Kuwabara is tightening it up a little... Ribbit has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ribbit reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ribbit taps out! Nice BJJ there by Kuwabara!
