These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Muradov dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Paine. That did some damage!
Muradov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Paine counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Paine lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Paine catches Muradov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Makhmud Muradov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Paine moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Paine.
Paine fails to land with a series of punches.
Muradov cracks Paine with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Paine falls to his knees and Muradov doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Makhmud Muradov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Set blocks the elbow strike.

Set gets control of Brent's arms and successfully pulls guard. Set will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Set scrambles and gets back to his feet.

Set forces Brent back against the cage and clinches.

Set breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Set clinches up with Brent and pushes him back against the cage.

Set ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Set no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Set is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Brent still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Brent has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Set has gone for a leg lock! Brent slips out almost immediately though and dives into Set's guard.

Brent would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Almeida anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Jones and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Almeida slips an arm under Jones chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Almeida has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Almeida is squeezing on Jones like an anaconda would it's prey. Jones fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

Hanma's coach down at Cozad MMA Rio was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hanma's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
McCall rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hanma moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
McCall throws a nice looking combination but Hanma bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Cain McCall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
