Costa kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Numb ( LinkinPark ). The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Smith escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mace Willington Iii is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Willington Iii tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Smith counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Willington Iii thinking. Willington Iii motions for Smith to come forward. Willington Iii throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Smith changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Willington Iii takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Smith fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Willington Iii to the ground. Smith is now in Willington Iii's guard. Willington Iii is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith wants to pass the guard but Willington Iii is keeping the position. Oh Willington Iii is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Smith tries to score a power double leg takedown but Willington Iii sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smith somewhat. Willington Iii swinging wildly here.

Dan Smith seems to be getting the better of the standup. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick. Willington Iii shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Smith napping and manages to drive through into side control! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Mace Willington Iii will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. Sailor's jab looks to have found its range, popping Corona under the eye.

Corona changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Sailor throws a wild hook but Corona just manages to duck under it and - ooooh!
