Martinez scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Tofail throws a shot from downtown. Martinez moves away and avoids it. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Tofail. Martinez shrugs it off though. Martinez pushes Tofail up against the cage in a clinch. Martinez keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Tofail's efforts to push away. Martinez keeps control of Tofail as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Martinez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tofail avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Tofail is trying to break the clinch but Martinez is controlling him. A frustrated look appears on Tofail's face as he tries to break the clinch. Tofail is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Tofail wants to get back to striking at distance but Martinez won't allow it.

Tofail slips under a jab from Martinez. Martinez throws a series of punches but Tofail moves out of range. Tofail looks for the body kick but Martinez saw that one coming. Tofail scores with a nice head shot. It looks like Fernando Martinez has been cut. Nice shot lands for Tofail. Martinez throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Tofail to counter with a crisp jab. A big right from Martinez misses. Tofail throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Martinez looks winded! Martinez misses with a wild body shot. Tofail has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Tofail ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Martinez looks to score with a jab to the body but Tofail is just out of range. Martinez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Tofail. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tofail chopping away at his opponent's legs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tofail ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Martinez moves away. Tofail connects with a nice looking jab.
Tofail misses with a wild body shot. Tofail throws a series of punches but Martinez avoids them all with ease. Tofail scores with a hook to the body. Martinez takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Whack! Tofail lands a heavy head kick that drops Martinez. The ref tackles Tofail to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Martinez was done.

letting MacArthur Ii counter with a right hand. Smart chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before MacArthur Ii can pounce on him.
MacArthur Ii seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Smart on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
MacArthur Ii punishes Smart's body with a nice straight punch. MacArthur Ii moves out of range of the strikes. MacArthur Ii throws the left hand but Smart avoids the punch easily. Smart lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Smart misses with a series of wild punches.
A jab from MacArthur Ii finds it's way through Smart's defenses. Smart throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Smart connects with a leg kick. MacArthur Ii connects with a crisp jab. Peter Smart seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. MacArthur Ii slips a jab from Smart. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! MacArthur Ii connects with a leg kick.

MacArthur Ii slips a jab from Smart. MacArthur Ii uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Smart has time to react. Smart gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Smart is rocked! MacArthur Ii cracks Smart with a hook to the temple - Smart is on wobbly legs here! MacArthur Ii swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Smart falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! MacArthur Ii wins by TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Angus MacArthur Ii! A very excited looking Angus MacArthur Ii rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reem listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Kingsley takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Reem changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. A nice combination there by Reem.
Reem connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Kingsley's hands. Kingsley fails with a takedown attempt. Reem jabs at Kingsley's body. Kingsley shoots in and bounces Reem off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Reem tries to land a sweep but no joy. Reem is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kingsley wants to control but Reem is keeping busy.
Reem thows a huge punch but Kingsley dodges it nicely.
Kingsley tries to get to full guard but Reem has control of the leg. Reem controlling the action here. Reem is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Reem tries to pass the half guard into mount. Kingsley knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Kingsley controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Kingsley trying to control but Reem postures up.
Reem is taking a breather. Kingsley says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Reem throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Reem is looking for a kimura but Kingsley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Reem to get the leverage. Kingsley is refusing to be controlled, as Reem sits in half guard. Reem not doing much here.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Kingsley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Reem. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reem trying to pass the guard but Kingsley defending well. Kingsley keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Reem wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kingsley keeps working.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Kingsley fails to land the takedown. A head kick by Reem misses and Kingsley counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Reem regains full guard. Nicely done. Reem lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Reem slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reem tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Reem working away. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Kingsley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Reem asserts his dominance and retains side control. Reem is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Kingsley will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Reem taking a break here but Kingsley is having none of it and regains half guard. Reem frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zakrie Reem dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Reem misses with a two punch combination.
Kingsley takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Reem lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Reem. Reem pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Reem works the jab nicely. Reem lands a jab to the nose. Kingsley dodges the punch combination from Reem.
Kingsley changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Reem throws a right hand that Kingsley ducks under and follows up with a left that Kingsley also avoids with ease. Reem throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Zakrie Reem seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kingsley doesn't succeed with the takedown and Reem counters with a series of strikes. Kingsley will be more careful next time no doubt. Reem uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Reem throws a half hearted mid kick. Reem wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Reem tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kingsley was well out of range. Poor timing from Reem. Reem misses with a few strikes there.
Reem stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Reem wants it to stay on the feet. Zakrie Reem has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Kingsley. Reem moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Reem lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Reem. Kingsley is rocked!

Darkholme throws a lazy right hand but Bateman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Darkholme misses with a wild body shot. Darkholme lunges at Bateman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Bateman's hand. Darkholme definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Darkholme blocks a head kick by Bateman.
Darkholme was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Darkholme throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bateman sees it coming and avoids it easily. Darkholme ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bateman moves away. Bateman is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Darkholme fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bateman has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Darkholme lands a lovely overhand right. Bateman avoids the body shot from Darkholme.

He thinks about going to the ground but Bateman looks back up at him and smiles so Darkholme waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Bateman is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Darkholme cracks a nice hook into Bateman's ribs. Bateman is still on wobbly legs! Can Darkholme finish him? A nice leg kick lands there from Darkholme. Bateman seems to have recovered his senses. Darkholme lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Bateman misses with a left hand and Darkholme counters with a lovely straight right hand! Darkholme turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Darkholme thumps Bateman with a low kick. Van Darkholme is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Darkholme throws a nice inside leg kick. Darkholme fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Darkholme throws a right hand that misses
and Bateman counters with a takedown into side control. Bateman scores with punches from side control. Bateman landing strikes. Bateman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Darkholme tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bateman happy to just control the position for now. Darkholme takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bateman in side control lands a decent elbow. Darkholme tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bateman lands shots from the back. Bateman scores with punches from the back.
Bateman really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Darkholme.

Bateman is landing with strikes. Darkholme can't take much more of this. Darkholme is trying to get back to his feet but Bateman has full control of the position and if anything, Darkholme has just worked his way into a worse spot. Darkholme tries to escape but Bateman has the hooks in and won't let him break free. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Bateman is landing with strikes. Darkholme can't take much more of this. Bateman is working for a rear naked choke. Darkholme is not defending it well and Bateman has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Darkholme refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Darkholme's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

Alvar on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brooks. Brooks obviously looking to wear him down.

Eric Brooks has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Aloisia Alvar. Brooks gets caught napping as Alvar dives in and scores a takedown. Brooks manages to retain guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvar working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Brooks keeping moving, preventing Alvar from controlling successfully. Alvar in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Not particularly brutal. Brooks wants to stand up but Alvar is controlling him. Alvar distracts Brooks with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Alvar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brooks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Brooks has his feet on Alvar's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Alvar closes the distance and clinches up with Brooks, looking for a takedown. Alvar pushes Brooks against the cage but Brooks circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Alvar shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Brooks manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alvar lands a couple of decent looking shots. Alvar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Alvar showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Alvar wants to control from the top but Brooks keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brooks is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Alvar is controlling him. Alvar pushes down on Brooks's leg and manages to get into half guard. Alvar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Alvar lands with some strikes. Alvar lands a couple of good shots and Brooks has given up his back, trying to escape the position! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Aloisia Alvar will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Alvar tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Brooks defends well and Alvar ends up having to push Brooks into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Alvar closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Brooks quickly recovers to half guard. Alvar seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Brooks does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Brooks avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Alvar. Alvar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Aaron Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Philipp Tyurin! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone walks into a jab. It looks like Aaron Stone has been cut. Stone steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tyurin. Tyurin jabbing away but nothing is landing. Stone closes the distance and clinches. Tyurin can't break the clinch.

Aaron Stone's cut is getting worse. Stone throws a nice inside leg kick. Stone darts in and clinches Tyurin up against the cage. Still in the clinch, Stone scores with a nice short uppercut. Stone lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. Stone gets through Tyurin's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. A short right from Stone. Tyurin is trying to break free. Stone makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tyurin's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Tyurin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Stone lands a nice looking body kick. Tyurin thuds his right hand into Stone's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Tyurin just misses with a punch to the body.
Stone throws a nice looking combination but Tyurin bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone misses with the combination.

John shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. It looks like Marlon John has been cut. Byczkiewicz scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. We've been hearing reports that John has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Byczkiewicz swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
John half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Gomez throws a body shot but no joy. Gomez feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Dentler sprawling to the canvas! Dentler rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Gomez finish him?!
Dentler is rocked! It looks like Jameson Dentler has been cut. Dentler misses with a shot to the body and Gomez counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Dentler out cold! What a finish! Gomez is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
