With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Melo Carter! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mann swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Carter checks a leg kick. Mann shoots in looking for a takedown but Carter manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Mann's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mann closes this distance looking for a takedown but Carter circles away. Carter swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Mann is trying hard to land a takedown here. Carter sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for IP Mann. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mann throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

He's got his arms around Carter's waist but Carter gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mann off to one side. Carter drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Mann defends it well. Mann tries to close the distance and clinch up but Carter swats him away and circles back towards the center. Mann tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mann throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Carter trying to control the action but Mann is working from the bottom. Carter landing strikes. Carter scoring with punches and elbows.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mann takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Carter lands some shots froms side control. Melo Carter is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Carter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Mann! Mann is squirming around, avoiding Carter's attempts to control the action. Carter in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Mann is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Carter raining down shots from the mount! Oh Mann is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Carter connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Carter looking to control but Mann is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Carter cracks Mann with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Hump to score with a decent uppercut. Spurrier tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Hump manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. A nice side step and Hump releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Hump is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Spurrier looks to clinch and Hump cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hump misses with a wild body shot. Spurrier wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spurrier misses with a low kick.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Spurrier might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Spurrier misses with a leg kick. Hump has been the more effective fighter overall so far. A nice inside leg kick there by Spurrier. That's going to slow Hump down. Spurrier throws a lazy head kick and Hump counters with a stiff right hand. Spurrier moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Spurrier closes the distance looking to clinch and Hump counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Spurrier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Spurrier looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Hump keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.

Spurrier throws out a leg kick but Hump moves out of range and Spurrier only half commits. Hump scores with a hook to the body. Spurrier takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Spurrier with the inside leg kick. Hump misses with a wild body shot. Hump connects with a body shot that sends Spurrier's belly button to the back. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Spurrier throws a head kick that misses enabling Hump to counter with a crisp jab. Nice jab there from Hump. Hump's corner calls for a 1-2. Hump obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. A low kick from Spurrier misses and Hump holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Hump has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Spurrier misses with a body punch.

Hump's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Hump lands a hook to the side of the head. Come on Hump - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Ronald Hump is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Spurrier's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Spurrier wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hump softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes. Spurrier trying to control the position but instead, Hump has worked for underhooks and has pushed Spurrier into the ropes. Hump prevents Spurrier from breaking the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hump cracks Spurrier with a nice body shot. Hump stalling.
Hump working some nice short punches in the clinch. Cael Spurrier has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hump blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
And that's the end of the fight! Ronald Hump comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Hump has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soshitsu prevents a takedown attempt there.

No, Soshitsu has managed to get both his arms back between Magrath's legs - danger averted. Soshitsu drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Soshitsu jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Magrath keeping moving, preventing Soshitsu from controlling successfully. Soshitsu might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Magrath haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Magrath is not content to let Soshitsu control the position. Soshitsu throwing shots but Magrath is blocking nicely. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. Hau only half commits to the counter leg kick. Hau lands a big head kick that sends Zhdanov tumbling to the mat! Hau takes a step backwards and waves Zhdanov back to his feet - he wants the finish! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Zhdanov drops his hands momentarily and Hau needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips Zhdanov just on the top of the head. Zhdanov drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in Zhdanov - he's done!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bennett lands with a thumping leg kick.
Nico Rusakko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bennett on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Rusakko takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rusakko cracks a nice hook into Bennett's ribs. Some bone on bone action there as Rusakko checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Bennett on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Bennett misses with a head kick.
A little jabbing left from Rusakko on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Rusakko moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Jab, jab by Rusakko - just one landing. Bennett seems to be stalking Rusakko here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastating head kick! Rusakko drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!
