We've been hearing reports that Andreev has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Andreev slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Andreev avoids a punch combination nicely.
Andreev drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. It looks like Alexey Andreev has been cut. Andreev shoots for a double leg takedown but Packer sprawls well. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Dee. Dee seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Wolfsbruder has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Khan points and yells something to his unconcious foe before strutting off. Wolfsbruder wakes up just in time to hear Khan thank his coaches in the post fight interview.

Falcone throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Falcone fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dambullah looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Dambullah throws a jab but it's blocked by Falcone. Falcone lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Dambullah takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Falcone uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Dambullah. Falcone throws a predictable looking body shot

He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dambullah has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dambullah and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. Dambullah misses with a right hand and Falcone counters with a nice uppercut. And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Anthony Falcone. Well Dambullah has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
