With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matsuka Hiyoshi! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Anthony Taglia and Dean Styles.

Hiyoshi throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Pristine fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Hiyoshi. It seemed like Springfield was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Springfield is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Fue Re misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Springfield.
Springfield swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Fue Re looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Fue Re connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A lazy left from Springfield finds it's target. Fue Re lands with a nice body kick. Springfield lunges at Fue Re with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fue Re's hand. Fue Re is rocked! A looping hook to the body misses from Fue Re. Springfield does a little dance to reset his feet. Oh Fue Re is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Fue Re ducks under a wild hook from Springfield. Fue Re tries to counter by clinching up but Springfield breaks away and moves out of range. Fue Re seems to have got his legs back now. Fue Re wants to slow Springfield down by chopping away at his legs. Springfield scores with a jab to the body. Springfield works the jab nicely. Fue Re is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fue Re throws out a loose jab but Springfield uses good head movement to avoid it. Springfield moves out of range of the body kick from Fue Re.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Fue Re takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Fue Re lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Springfield moves away from the strike by Fue Re. Springfield is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Springfield drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Fue Re onto his butt! Fue Re pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.
That's one minute gone in the round. Springfield closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Fue Re out cold! Fue Re corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
