Stillwell manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jones on his heels. He'll look to pass Jones's guard now, I'm sure.

Mahogany dives in for a single leg takedown but Schrute sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Land throws a leg kick but Summers sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Land has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Summers on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Land. Land obviously looking to wear him down.
Summers misses with a straight left.
Land takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Summers missing with a left hand there. Land was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Land takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Land is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

and Land counters with a nice leg kick.

Land moves into the clinch.

Land gets control of Summers's arms and successfully pulls guard. Land will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Land escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Summers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Summers is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Land has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Summers is looking to defend but Land has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Summers! Land pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Summers taps out and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Zee Land!
Zee Land decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

BOOM! Barkley lands a beautiful left hook that drops Philippe. Philippe tries to recover but Barkley is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Philippe lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!

A relieved looking Nick Barkley thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
