With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dick Niaz!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ranger Alderidge!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Niaz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Alderidge defends well and Niaz ends up having to push Alderidge into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Alderidge lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Alderidge can't find room to land a body shot as Niaz controls the action.

Niaz manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Niaz has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Alderidge can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Alderidge got a little sloppy there for a moment and Niaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Alderidge has managed to get both his arms back between Niaz's legs - danger averted.
Alderidge really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Niaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

That was a close round but I would say that Dick Niaz will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Niaz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alderidge is fending him off so far but Niaz persists. Nope, Alderidge circles away and we're back to standing.

Alderidge stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Alderidge wants it to stay on the feet.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Alderidge throws a hook to the side of Niaz's head but Niaz sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Niaz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Alderidge sprawls well. Alderidge wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Niaz gets slowly back to his feet.
Alderidge let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Alderidge cracks Niaz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Niaz shoots in looking for a takedown but Alderidge manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Niaz's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Alderidge might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Alderidge uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Niaz has time to react.

Niaz shoots for a double leg takedown but Alderidge sprawls well. He's pushed Niaz's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alderidge slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Niaz is rocked!
Niaz leaves his chin hanging out and Alderidge seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Niaz crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ranger Alderidge!

A very excited looking Ranger Alderidge made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
