The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A nice leg kick lands there from Da Santiago. Sinaga looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Da Santiago lands a head shot. A chopping leg kick lands by Da Santiago. Sinaga with a poor takedown enabling Da Santiago to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd cheers as Da Santiago lands an impressive looking overhand right. Sinaga doesn't seem phased though. A left lands for Da Santiago. Da Santiago lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Sinaga backs up against the cage.

and Madison takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Madison is trying hard to land a takedown here. Smalls sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Madison has his takedown stuffed and Smalls counters with a crisp one two that drops Madison! Smalls thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Madison to his feet! Madison is in big trouble! Madison is rocked! Smith keeping moving, preventing Hawk from controlling successfully. Hawk postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Smith looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Smith is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hawk had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Smith defends it easily. Smith trying to control but Hawk is working from the bottom. Hawk working a defensive guard here.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Smith is looking for a sweep. Hawk is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Smith wants to control but Hawk is keeping busy and won't allow it. Hawk is working for a submission of some sort.
Smith wants to get back to full guard. Hawk is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Smith doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hawk.

And that's the end of the fight! Efraim Turban showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Turban, winning every round. Will the judges agree? The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rasputin wants to clinch enabling Cortez to counter with a crisp jab. It looks like Piotr Rasputin has been cut. Cortez lands with a shot to the body. Cortez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rasputin on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. That was a nice finish - just the right level of brutality to send everyone home happy.
