With a record of 22 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Enzo Salvatore! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Salvatore lands a slapping body shot.
Curtis misses the jab. Salvatore throws a body shot but no joy. A nice leg kick from Curtis, right into the meat of the thigh.

Salvatore drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Curtis manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Salvatore has Curtis in his guard. Salvatore controls Curtis momentarily but Curtis frees himself. Salvatore is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Salvatore looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Curtis has picked Salvatore up and slammed him! Salvatore can't keep hold of the triangle and Curtis manages to pass to side control! Salvatore struggling a bit here. Salvatore is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Curtis is trying to control the action in half guard but Salvatore is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Salvatore wants to improve his position but Curtis is controlling well.

Salvatore tries to kick Curtis off but Curtis keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Salvatore keeps control of the position for the meantime. Curtis knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Salvatore on the ground. Salvatore is trying to stand up here but Curtis is controlling him well. Curtis stalling. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Lydon is staying active underneath Delisle, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Delisle working over Lydon with some ground and pound. Lydon looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Lydon tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Delisle manages to move to mount!

Steve is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Knox might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Knox rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Umm jabs Kuwabara right on the nose. Kuwabara blinks but takes it well. Kuwabara throws a lazy right hand but Umm sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Kuwabara swinging wildly here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Umm. It looks like Umm has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him. Umm stuffs the takedown attempt from Kuwabara. Kuwabara gets slowly back to his feet. Kuwabara gets a takedown into half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kuwabara uses his free foot to push down on Umm's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Umm. Kuwabara goes for an armbar but Umm turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Umm. Umm knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Kuwabara on the ground. Umm wants to stand but Kuwabara has a closed guard, so he can't escape. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kazuma Kuwabara will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Kuwabara closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Kuwabara tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Kuwabara swings around for an armbar but Umm sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Kuwabara's guard. Umm has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Kuwabara to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Umm is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Kuwabara pulls down on the head and he's put Umm to sleep! This one is all over!
