The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice sprawl there from Wad as Teteny shoots in. Wad lands with a kick to the temple. Teteny shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" It looks like Daaniel Teteny has been cut. Wad lands a big head kick that sends Teteny tumbling to the mat! Wad takes a step backwards and waves Teteny back to his feet - he wants the finish! Teteny is rocked! Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! Wad throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Teteny is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Swas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Winh did well to prevent Swas getting side control. Winh is trying to escape back to his feet but Swas uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Swas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Winh is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Swas wants to stand but Winh has his arm trapped. Winh tries to bench press Swas off him but Swas keeps the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Swas takes a little break here. Winh wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Swas cracks Winh with a big right hand but Winh just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Winh wants to control but Swas postures up. Winh on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Swas will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Winh pushes Swas away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Swas gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Winh is looking for a sweep. It looks like Habib Putins has been cut. Hooper might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Hooper postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Putins covers up, he's hurt! Hooper keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Hooper and the ref steps in to end the fight! Hooper can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Li. Petrov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Lars Kraulthammer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Seamus Ohoulihan! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kraulthammer swinging wildly here.
Kraulthammer misses with a takedown letting Ohoulihan counter with a right hand. It looks like Lars Kraulthammer has been cut. Ohoulihan goes for a double leg but Kraulthammer avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Kraulthammer continues to drive forward. Ohoulihan lands with a straight right. Kraulthammer didn't see that one coming. Ohoulihan swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kraulthammer counters with a shoot takedown. Ohoulihan fights it but they end up in guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kraulthammer's corner is telling him to maintain position. Ohoulihan tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ohoulihan working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kraulthammer doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kraulthammer manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Kraulthammer with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kraulthammer accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Ohoulihan is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Kraulthammer defends well.

Kraulthammer trying to control but Ohoulihan is working from the bottom. Kraulthammer tries to free his leg and advance position but Ohoulihan is retaining full guard. Kraulthammer trying to control the position from guard on top but Ohoulihan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ohoulihan is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ohoulihan wants to sweep but no luck. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Kraulthammer not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Kraulthammer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Kraulthammer drops back looking for a leg! Ohoulihan is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ohoulihan manages to kick Kraulthammer off! Kraulthammer jumps back into Ohoulihan's guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ohoulihan striking off his back but it's not causing Kraulthammer any problems. Ohoulihan is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Ohoulihan is looking for a sweep. Kraulthammer is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kraulthammer is working for a kimura but Ohoulihan is defending it quite comfortably.

Here we go, back to the action! Kraulthammer fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Ohoulihan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Ohoulihan has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at EFC Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Ohoulihan lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Ohoulihan scoring with strikes to the body and head. Kraulthammer tries to roll over but Ohoulihan keeps him under control. Kraulthammer works his way to full guard. Good work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kraulthammer has his feet on Ohoulihan's thighs here. He's pushed Ohoulihan off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Ohoulihan screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!

Ji Woo felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

Goncalves has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Ji Woo looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Goncalves pushes past his half guard into mount! Goncalves prevents Ji Woo from getting the reversal. Ji Woo wants to hold on but Goncalves pushes him away. Ji Woo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Goncalves haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Goncalves tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ji Woo was well out of range. Poor timing from Goncalves. Ji Woo moves out of range as Goncalves strikes. Ji Woo thows a body kick. Goncalves tries to catch it but that hurt him. Ji Woo tries to close the distance and clinch but Goncalves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Ji Woo misses the body punch and Goncalves counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Goncalves does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Goncalves, as that shot connected.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Ji Woo cracks Goncalves with a good jab. Goncalves slips under a jab. It looked like Goncalves wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Goncalves scores with a jab to the body. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Goncalves lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ji Woo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ji Woo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A lazy left from Goncalves finds it's target. The fighters circling - Goncalves throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Ji Woo appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Guilherme Goncalves is winning the standup battle so far. Ji Woo swings away with a body shot that misses
enabling Goncalves to counter with a crisp jab. Ji Woo throws a wild body kick that Goncalves sees coming a mile off.

and Goncalves counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bong Ji Woo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ji Woo darts in trying to clinch and Goncalves counters with a series of strikes. Ji Woo will be more careful next time no doubt. Goncalves drops Ji Woo with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Ji Woo looks back up at him and smiles so Goncalves waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Ji Woo has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
