After the fight, Hip Hop was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
Erik Friedrichsen was interviewed post fight and said 'I am young. This is merely a slight delay'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Jhit feints and as Lermontov raises his hands in defense, Al Jhit changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Lermontov tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Lermontov looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Al Jhit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lermontov swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Al Jhit trying to control but Lermontov is working from the bottom.

Lermontov isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Al Jhit stacks Lermontov on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Al Jhit!

Al Jhit has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Al Jhit wants to control but Lermontov is keeping him busy.
Lermontov has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Al Jhit. Oh but Lermontov has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Al Jhit goes limp - he's gone! Lermontov jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
