Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Artturi Reinikainen (ranked 6 p4p, 31 weight class) and Hugh Honey (ranked 1 p4p, 6 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Reinikainen might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Viimeinen päivä. Honey has chosen Higher Love as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Po throws a looping overhand right but Al Din ducks down to avoid it.
Al Din swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Al Din throws a shot from downtown. Po moves away and avoids it.
And Po responds with a good body kick, but Al Din manages to step out the way in time.

Po swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Al Din throws a counter high kick but Po was just alert enough to avoid it.
Po stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

and Al Din cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Al Din thows a body kick. Po tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Po swings widly with a right hand
and Al Din counters with a head kick. That will keep Po thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Al Din throws a low kick but Po avoids it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Al Din counters with a nice right hand that sends Po toppling to the canvas! Po scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Al Din finish him?!

Po switches off momentarily and Al Din cracks him with a monster right hand! Po topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Al Din dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Al Din!

Badr Al Din retains his light heavyweight title!
A relieved looking Badr Al Din thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
