Sam Wilber's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Wilber is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by McGregor.

McGregor drops Wilber with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Wilber looks back up at him and smiles so McGregor waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
McGregor closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Wilber! McGregor dives in looking to finish! Wilber is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch McGregor!
After winning the bout, Mitch McGregor thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
