Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Oleg Yuslanovich! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jean Claude Van Guile! The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Franklyn Lucas and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Good exchange - Yuslanovich coming out on top. Van Guile misses with a hook to the body
and Van Guile takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Van Guile moves out of range as Yuslanovich strikes. Yuslanovich gets a clinch. Yuslanovich has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Van Guile clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! You can see the frustration on Van Guile's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Van Guile is covering up but some of the strikes from Yuslanovich are getting through and doing damage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Van Guile trying to control the action but Yuslanovich just sinks the hooks in. Even with his hooks in, Yuslanovich manages to miss with strikes from the back. Yuslanovich missing with punches from the back. Yuslanovich is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Van Guile turns into Yuslanovich and is now in his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Van Guile prevents Yuslanovich from improving his position. Yuslanovich moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Van Guile controls from within his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Yuslanovich loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yuslanovich throws a big right hand that misses. Yuslanovich sitting in guard here, content to control. Yuslanovich is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Yuslanovich is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Yuslanovich has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Van Guile throws a right and a left that both miss. Van Guile throws a good cross that connects.
Yuslanovich throws a lazy right hand but Van Guile sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Yuslanovich shoots in looking for a takedown but Van Guile manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Yuslanovich's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Van Guile is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Van Guile tries to clinch but Yuslanovich moves out of range. Van Guile is looking to clinch but Yuslanovich is avoiding it.
Yuslanovich changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Yuslanovich shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Van Guile's guard. Van Guile working a defensive guard here.

Van Guile plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Van Guile shoots for a double leg takedown but Yuslanovich sprawls well. He's pushed Van Guile's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Yuslanovich fails with a takedown attempt. Van Guile tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Van Guile fails with an attempt to clinch.
Yuslanovich half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Yuslanovich moves into the clinch. A battle for position here, against the cage. Van Guile is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Yuslanovich is keeping busy. Van Guile is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Yuslanovich has denied him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yuslanovich is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Van Guile pulls him back up using the underhooks. Van Guile throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Yuslanovich blocks it with crossed arms. Van Guile prevents the takedown attempt.

Van Guile is defending well against a takedown attempt. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Van Guile. Yuslanovich turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Yuslanovich is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Yuslanovich wants to control but Van Guile is keeping him busy. Yuslanovich just content to control the position. Van Guile is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Van Guile is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Yuslanovich off and has taken his back! Jean Claude Van Guile has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Van Guile biding his time, looking for the opening.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Van Guile controlling well, preventing Yuslanovich from escaping the position.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mongkut gets tackled into the cage by Smirnova. Smirnova maintains the clinch. Mongkut breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mongkut works the jab nicely. Smirnova misses with a takedown attempt - Mongkut sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Smirnova is looking to clinch but Mongkut is avoiding it.
Mongkut definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Mongkut thows a body kick. Smirnova tries to catch it but that hurt him. Mongkut lands with a kick to the temple. Smirnova shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Smirnova has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Mongkut. Mongkut misses with a hook
and Smirnova counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Mongkut circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mongkut looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mongkut misses the shot to the body. Mongkut thows a body kick. Smirnova tries to catch it but that hurt him. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smirnova tries to bum rush Mongkut with a series of wild strikes but Mongkut uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Mongkut throws a leg kick which misses Smirnova's front leg but catches the back leg as Smirnova tries to avoid it. A slapping leg kick lands for Mongkut.
Mongkut takes a swing at Smirnova's ribcage but misses. Mongkut lands with a slapping head kick. It looks like Nickita Smirnova has been cut.
That's one minute gone in the round. A nice inside leg kick there by Mongkut. That's going to slow Smirnova down. Mongkut throws a nice inside leg kick. A kick lands to the mid section there for Mongkut. A head kick misses from Mongkut. Smirnova clinches up with Mongkut and pushes him back against the cage. A short right from Mongkut. Mongkut is pushing Smirnova up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Mongkut controlling the action here for a moment.

Mongkut misses with a hook. Smirnova ducked under it nicely. Smirnova closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mongkut's guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Smirnova is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mongkut wants to get back to his feet but Smirnova passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mongkut tries to kick Smirnova off but Smirnova keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Smirnova slows the pace down in half guard. Smirnova is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mongkut tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Smirnova manages to move to mount!

Phet Mongkut dominated that round. The cut man is working on Nickita Smirnova's cut. That's time! Mongkut's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Mongkut closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Smirnova creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. A short right hand to the side of the head by Mongkut. Mongkut pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Phet Mongkut seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Mongkut. Mongkut delivers a nice body kick. Mongkut lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Mongkut throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Smirnova is defended easily by Mongkut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Smirnova tries to score a power double leg takedown but Mongkut sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Smirnova somewhat. Mongkut connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Smirnova has a takedown stuffed. Phet Mongkut has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nickita Smirnova. Mongkut lets loose with a powerful body kick. Smirnova will feel that in the morning. Smirnova fails in his attempt to clinch. Mongkut throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Smirnova on the side of the head. Smirnova is rocked! Smirnova stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mongkut. Smirnova changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mongkut tries to avoid it but Smirnova manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mongkut to the ground. Mongkut escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Smirnova is breathing heavily. Mongkut forces Smirnova back against the cage and clinches. Mongkut lands a body punch. Mongkut is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Smirnova jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Mongkut walks away with a smile on his face. Smirnova gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A chopping leg kick lands by Mongkut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mongkut lands a big head kick that sends Smirnova tumbling to the mat! Mongkut takes a step backwards and waves Smirnova back to his feet - he wants the finish! Smirnova is still on wobbly legs! Can Mongkut finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Smirnova walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Smirnova limp body while Mongkut jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Phet Mongkut! A relieved looking Phet Mongkut thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Lawson has his hands clasped together but Junior extends and breaks Lawson's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Junior.

and Quinlin counters with a shoot takedown. Dracul fights it but they end up in guard. Quinlin trying to control the position from guard on top but Dracul is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dracul wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Quinlin manages to pass to side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dracul is trying to stand up here but Quinlin is controlling him well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Quinlin thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dracul's head. Quinlin wants to pass the guard but Dracul is defending well. Quinlin wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dracul keeps working.

Dracul throws a hook to the side of Quinlin's head but Quinlin sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Quinlin walks into a straight right hand from Dracul. The fighters circling - Dracul throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Dracul looks to land a right hand but Quinlin moved out of range. Quinlin looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Dracul throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Quinlin cracks Dracul with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dracul scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Quinlin doesn't seem bothered though. Quinlin takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dracul connects with a good right hand that stumbles Quinlin. Quinlin circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dracul rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Quinlin moves out of range and avoids them all easily. A low kick from Dracul is predictable there and Dracul takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Dracul throws a shot from downtown. Quinlin moves away and avoids it. Quinlin scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dracul throws out a leg kick but Quinlin moves out of range and Dracul only half commits. Quinlin steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Dracul. Quinlin shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Dracul as he jumps to the side. Dracul lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Dracul misses with an uppercut. Quinlin uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Dracul has time to react.

Quinlin will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Dracul would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Paddy Quinlin has got the better of the ground game so far.

Quinlin wriggles free and stands up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A momentary lapse in concentration from Dracul enables Quinlin to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Dracul manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed right hand from White misses the target. Good shot there by White. White ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Neer moves away. White just misses with a punch to the body.
White lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. White swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Neer clinches up with White and pushes him back against the cage. Neer tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Neer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics White uses from the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Neer looking for a guillotine here but White defends easily.

Johnson throws a hook to the side of Schilt's head but Schilt sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Johnson lands a left and a right that send Schilt crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Schilt is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Johnson throws a right hand that misses
and Schilt counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Schilt is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him? Schilt takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Johnson chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Schilt can pounce on him.
Schilt seems to have recovered his senses. Schilt tries to land a front kick but Johnson steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Schilt's head backwards. Johnson throws a shot to the body.
Johnson lands a big right hand that sends Schilt crashing to the mat! Johnson stays standing though and waves Schilt back to his feet! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Johnson lands a nice shot to the body.
Johnson throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Schilt colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Johnson as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Schilt is left battered and dazed whilst Johnson and his camp cheer!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. McDade seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Camara on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Camara tries to get out of the position. McDade trying to mount his opponent but Camara defends it. McDade has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Camara is trying desperately to improve position. McDade controlling the pace for now.

Camara is looking to improve his position but McDade isn't that keen on the idea. McDade is standing up, even though he is in mount. McDade lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. A swing and a miss from McDade. Camara is looking to counter the offense by McDade and move into the clinch. Camara looks to throw the jab but McDade is out of range. McDade cracks Camara with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Camara tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but McDade pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Camara is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
