With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jason Dawkins! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Dean Styles and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pacha swings for the body but Dawkins moves out of range.
Dawkins goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Pacha lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Dawkins at a distance.
Pacha throws a quick inside leg kick. Dawkins looks for the body kick but Pacha saw that one coming. Dawkins shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. Pacha lands a right hook to the body.
Dawkins misses with a body kick. Pacha throws a nice outside leg kick. Pacha connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. We've been hearing reports that Pacha has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Pacha fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Dawkins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dawkins on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Pacha thumps Dawkins with a low kick. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Dawkins looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Thud! ouch! good body kick from Dawkins - that will leave a mark!
Dawkins takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dawkins throws a front kick aimed at Pacha's knee but Pacha avoids it well. Pacha is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Dawkins can do to turn this around?

Pacha tries to work over Dawkins's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. A nice glancing elbow lands by Dawkins. This has been an exciting period of action! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Steve stuffs the takedown attempt from Ezzeli. Ezzeli gets slowly back to his feet. Ezzeli shoots in but no luck this time. Ezzeli misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaqiup Ezzeli. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ezzeli tries for a takedown but Steve circles away easily and Steve counters with a lovely straight right hand! Ezzeli could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ezzeli shoots in for a double leg but Steve sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Steve keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Steve! But no joy. Steve cracks Ezzeli with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ezzeli looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Steve finish him?
Ezzeli is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ezzeli loses concentration momentarily and Steve pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Ezzeli crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Steve finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:43 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Stephen Steve! A relieved looking Stephen Steve thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it. In defeat, Shaqiup Ezzeli stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks to Hectors Hitters gym, i will work more there to come back stronger!'.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burnell throws a right hand that Smirnova ducks under and follows up with a left that Smirnova also avoids with ease. Burnell tries to bum rush Smirnova with a series of wild strikes but Smirnova uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Smirnova tries to clinch but Burnell is having none of it. Nice uppercut there from Smirnova. No luck for Burnell with that takedown attempt. Burnell is breathing heavily. Smirnova throws a head kick but Burnell moves out of range.

That was a close round but I would say that Nicolas Burnell will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
