McGraugh's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Tesla is holding on here and McGraugh must be using up a lot of energy. Tesla has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! McGraugh gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

I think Gracie might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Limp Bizkit - Rollin'. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tautua ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zhao moves away.
Zhao bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tautua's head backwards.
Zhao fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tautua.
Zhao throws a looping overhand right but Tautua ducks down to avoid it.
Tautua throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Zhao's waist but Zhao gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tautua off to one side.
Nice takedown defense from Zhao. No joy for Tautua on that attempt.

Zhao dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Tautua. That did some damage!

Tautua feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Tautua takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Tautua shoots in looking for a takedown. Zhao tries to sprawl out of it but Tautua keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zhao manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It looks like Zhao has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Zhao lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

You can see the frustration on Tautua's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Zhao, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
