Tate Jr throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Hanson stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Tate Jr lands with an uppercut that bounces Hanson off the cage and back into range.
Hanson closes the distance looking to clinch
and Tate Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body.

Sang lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Sang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Soza has Sang pressed against the cage.
Soza wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Sang has him pressed against the cage.
Soza jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Sang walks away with a smile on his face. Soza gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Sang checks a leg kick.
Sang tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Soza manages to circle out of the way.
Soza tries a head kick but it misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Sang shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Soza eats them both and turns towards Sang to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Soza goes for a double leg but Sang avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sang continues to drive forward.

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bob Probert (ranked 2246 p4p, 2938 weight class) and Vulfgang Takumi (ranked 286 p4p, 367 weight class). Vulfgang Takumi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Bob Probert spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
