With a record of 9 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gurizuri Nakamura! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A looping hook to the body misses from Cruz. Nakamura does a little dance to reset his feet. Cruz misses the shot to the body. Cruz scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Nakamura doesn't seem bothered though. Nakamura closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Cruz's guard. Cruz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nakamura controls the pace. Nakamura throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belport missing with a left hand there. Kulik was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kulik ducks under a wild hook from Belport. Kulik throws a big counter head kick but Belport avoids it with no problem. Belport throws a jab but it's blocked by Kulik. Belport looks to land a right hand but Kulik moved out of range. Belport waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Kulik. Kulik is looking for the big counter here. Kulik staying out of range there. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Belport, as that shot connected.

Monto circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Muhapuro waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Monto. A little jabbing left from Muhapuro on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Monto fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Muhapuro avoids it really well and circles away. Bob lands a front kick. Moore takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Moore swings widly with a right hand

That must be slowing him down. Bob darts in and out, connecting with a jab. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Bob misses with an uppercut. Moore saw that one coming. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Bob keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Moore. Bob lands a jab. Bob throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bob misses with a looping right. Bob clobbers Moore with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Bob fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Moore manages to avoid it. Bob throws a big shot that misses. Bob checks a leg kick. Bob thumps Moore with a low kick. Bob lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Bob rushes Moore and presses him up against the cage. Moore breaks from the clinch.
Bob works Moore's body with a nice hook. Bob has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Moore. Nice cross by Bob. Moore tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Bob throws a lazy uppercut

Bob has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ. Bob turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Bob's Muay Thai looks sharper than normal. He has obviously been working on it in the gym. Moore lands a jab to the head.
A slow jab from Bob misses its intended target. And Moore responds with a good body kick, but Bob manages to step out the way in time. Bob changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Moore uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bob. Bob throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Bob fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Moore is out of range. Moore wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Bob paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Moore avoids the body shot from Bob.

Bob is looking to score with low kicks. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Moore! But no joy. Bob throws the left hand but Moore avoids the punch easily. Bob lands with a right hand. Moore uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Bob. A countering left hand to the body from Moore misses. Moore throws a jab but it's blocked by Bob. Bob clinches with his opponent.

Moore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. A short right from Bob on the inside. Moore has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Bob. Moore pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Bob tries to clinch up but Moore circles away and keeps his distance. Moore connects with a body shot that sends Bob's belly button to the back. Silent Bob is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. A decent looking cross lands there for Bob. Moore takes a body punch but keeps moving. Bob connects with an inside leg kick. Bob takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Lund tries to close the distance and clinch but Bird swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bird displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lund throws out the jab. Bird is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Aaron Lund is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bird walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. That's four minutes gone in the round. Bird engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Lund pulls Bird in close to his closed guard and prevents Bird from doing any damage or advancing position. Lund will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Lund is trying to control the position but Bird postures up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bird's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jake Bird has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bird throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Aaron Lund. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lund, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Edwards cracks a nice hook into Wojcik's ribs. Edwards cracks Wojcik with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Edwards has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Wojcik to stand back up! Wojcik is rocked! Edwards scores with a jab to the body. Oh Wojcik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Edwards throws a powerful right kick. Wojcik tried to block low but the kick was high!
