The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wrobel is looking to land body kicks.
Conforto looks to score with a jab to the body but Wrobel is just out of range.

Conforto clinches.

Conforto has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Wrobel regains guard immediately.
Wrobel preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Wrobel keeping full guard, as Conforto tries to pass.
Wrobel is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Conforto is controlling him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Conforto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wrobel swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wrobel is trying to control the position but Conforto postures up.

Conforto throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Wrobel works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Wrobel avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Wrobel striking off his back but it's not causing Conforto any problems.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Conforto gets a clinch.
Wrobel drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Conforto gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Conforto is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wrobel pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Conforto leaning his opponent against the ropes.
Wrobel blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Conforto wants to stall.

Conforto has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wrobel uses from the top position.
Wrobel postures up in Conforto's guard and throws a big left but Conforto blocks it.

Conforto has his feet on Wrobel's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Conforto avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Wrobel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Conforto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Wrobel shoots in for a double leg but Conforto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Conforto throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Wrobel.
It looks like Mordechai Wrobel has been cut.
Conforto throws a head kick that Wrobel semi-blocks.
Mordechai Wrobel has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Child shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Gill defends it nicely.
Child shoots for a takedown but Gill saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Gill shoots in and bounces Child off the ropes to secure the takedown into guard.
Gill trying to move into half guard but instead Child has managed to sweep!

Gill is pulling down on Child's head. It's preventing any offense from Child, at least for the moment.

Gill looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Child wants to control from the top but Gill keeps moving.

Gill has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Child can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Child is working Gill over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Gill tries to get to full guard but Child has control of the leg.

Gill moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

I would just about give that final round to Jules Gill.
