Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Haris Hunt! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sonny Corleone Jr.! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Corleone Jr. avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Corleone Jr. swings and misses with a shot to the body and Hunt counters with a nice uppercut. It looks like Sonny Corleone Jr. has been cut. Haris Hunt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hunt is looking to clinch but Corleone Jr. is avoiding it.
Corleone Jr. has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Hunt throws a right and a left that both miss. Hunt tries to clinch but Corleone Jr. moves out of range. Corleone Jr. throws a hook but Hunt avoids it easily. Hunt fails with an attempt to clinch.

I was talking to Hunt's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Corleone Jr. stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hunt misses with a short punch on the inside. Hunt jumps guard but Corleone Jr. turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Corleone Jr. lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hunt. Hunt wants to break free but Corleone Jr. has control.

Corleone Jr. is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Hunt wants to control the position but Corleone Jr. says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Hunt won't allow Corleone Jr. to pass to mount.

Hunt is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Hunt wants to get back to full guard. Still in half guard, Corleone Jr. seems content to control. Hunt is trying to maintain the position but Corleone Jr. is very close to passing his half guard. Corleone Jr. is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hunt is just riding it out for now. Corleone Jr. eventually gives up the hold. Hunt tries to get to full guard but Corleone Jr. has control of the leg.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hunt tries to clinch up but Corleone Jr. circles away and keeps his distance. Corleone Jr. looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Hunt wants to clinch. Corleone Jr. circles away from the clinch attempt.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Corleone Jr. misses with a hook. Corleone Jr. is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hunt. Hunt throws a big counter combination but Corleone Jr. scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Hunt throws a body kick, spinning off balance enabling Corleone Jr. to counter with a crisp jab. It looks like Haris Hunt has been cut. Hunt fails in his attempt to clinch. Corleone Jr. throws out a counter right but Hunt avoids it with no problem. Corleone Jr. waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hunt. Corleone Jr. avoids the body shot from Hunt.
Hunt tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Corleone Jr. throws a looping overhand right but Hunt ducks down to avoid it. Corleone Jr. throws a hook but Hunt avoids it easily. Hunt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Corleone Jr. counters with a stiff right hand. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Sonny Corleone Jr. dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Corleone Jr. throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Hunt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Corleone Jr. keeps the fight on the outside. Hunt misses with a takedown attempt - Corleone Jr. sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Corleone Jr. closes the distance and pushes Hunt back into the cage. Corleone Jr. is leaning against Hunt and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Corleone Jr. working some nice short punches in the clinch. Corleone Jr. lands with a light punch inside. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Corleone Jr. in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Hunt looking to stall.

Hunt tries to close the distance and clinch but Corleone Jr. swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. It seemed like Corleone Jr. was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. This has been an exciting period of action! Hunt tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Corleone Jr. manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Corleone Jr. throws out a counter right but Hunt avoids it with no problem. Corleone Jr. avoids the head kick by Hunt.
Hunt lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Hunt. A low kick lands for Corleone Jr..

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haris Hunt. That's going to take a lot out of him. The fight stays on the outside here - Hunt looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Haris Hunt is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Corleone Jr. scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

And that's the end of the fight! Sonny Corleone Jr. comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Corleone Jr. has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. It looks like Mark Antony has been cut. Antony throws a head kick but Foster moves out of range.
Antony throws a quick inside leg kick. Antony with a nice cross. Foster throws the left hand but Antony avoids the punch easily. A slow jab from Foster misses its intended target. Foster misses with an uppercut. Antony saw that one coming. It looked like Antony was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Foster. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Foster throws a hook but Antony blocks it. Foster misses the body punch and Antony counters with a nice body kick.

Foster feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Antony sprawling to the canvas! Antony rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Foster finish him?!
Antony goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Carl Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Antony ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Antony is looking to counter with head kicks. That snapped Antony's head back.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Outback lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Outback looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Outback scores with a jab. Raledran acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Outback lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Raledran at a distance.
Outback tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Raledran was well out of range. Poor timing from Outback. Raledran tries a quick counter leg kick but Outback is wise to it. Raledran lands a glancing blow to the side of Outback's head. Outback comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Raledran throws a punch but it's blocked by Outback. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Outback blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Raledran's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Raledran lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Raledran lands with a left to the head. Raledran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Outback waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Raledran. A shot to the liver by Outback. Beautiful body shot. Raledran takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Raledran takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Outback misses with a wild body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Macca Outback showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Outback, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
