Algiorno went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Taylor looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khan slaps away a takedown attempt from Vieira, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Vieira takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khan as he jumps to the side.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Vieira.

The crowd cheers as Khan lands an impressive looking overhand right. Vieira doesn't seem phased though.
Vieira shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Khan sprawls well. Khan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Vieira gets slowly back to his feet.

Khan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
